Pink Top & Black Jeans

These photos were taken around August last year, on a blistering hot day and I actually ended up regretting wearing jeans, ha ha. I hadn’t gotten around to sharing the pictures yet as I had other ones to edit, then Autumn took over and these got left behind, however with the Covid issue, this has actually worked out better as I have a Summer look to share with you!

My outfit was a Pink Knitted Mango Tank Top, which I styled with my L’AGENCE Margot Skinny Jeans in Graphite (I do still live in these!), my B-Low The Belt, my Alexander McQueen Oversized Sneakers, and my Saint Laurent White Sunglasses, finished off with a Mango Shell Necklace. I wasn’t completely sure if I loved the outfit when I put it together because of the sunglasses, but I went with it. Sometimes it’s all about experimentation and seeing what you can come up with, ha ha.

On a separate note, I’m planning on taking my very first flight next month in July! I’m not sure which country I’m going to yet, it depends on the air bridges and what’s open, but I’m thinking Spain or France, so I can test a flight before flying to the United States this year. I’m finally doing what I wanted to do and hoping it goes well! How are you all doing? Our hairdressers and restaurants etc. open up on the 4th July and I cannot wait either! I need my hair cut! Lorna xx.

Cool! Yeah, there’s some really beautiful places to visit in Spain!

The colourful necklace is so cute with the bright top! 🙂 I am impressed you can wear jeans in summer too, even if it was a bit warm! Jeans are not a good idea in the summer months here, much too hot and humid.

So good you are able to travel next month too, so exciting for you! 🙂 We loved our Europe trip last year and have been thinking about going back to Disneyland again but with the virus they are saying the borders will be closed this year with Australia, and that they may not even open until July next year. We will need to find some Australian places to visit instead! 🙂

Hope your week is going well 🙂

Oh no! I hope they will be open for you! But visiting places in Australia sounds good to me! And yeah, jeans in Aus do not sound like a good idea with your heat, ha ha. Today has been 32 Celcius and it’s been hideous! Glad you love the outfit, Mica!

I like the fiery look in your eyes Lorna! I adore all the elements of the look, especially the vivid colour of the top, and the shell necklace. You are one sassy lady!

    Lots of love Saba xx

Whatever you think of the short flight that you take; just keep in mind that longer flights are actually better. On the longer flights you’ll get a couple of meals and have a wide range of movies, TV show and music to choose from. They’re actually good fun really… 🙂

Always great to see those brilliant jeans again? Have they become your all-time favourites now? 🙂 Loving the top too and how your necklace compliments it. 🙂

Yep! I think they are my all time favourite actually! I really like them a lot 🙂 They seem to be my go to for comfort and versatility! I’ve noticed that comfort is a huge factor for me when I choose jeans!

And cool! Thank you for letting me know! Are the longer flights more comfy too? I’d love to know more about it!

Yes, I think longer flights are more comfy for sure. Short haul flights can feel like you’re just on a train in the sky really. I think you definitely have better seating on long haul because it needs to be… especially if you want to sleep. It’s the entertainment that makes the time pass though. You’ll have a personal screen in the back of the seat that’s in front of you (and earphones, of course). You’ll have a range of movies and TV shows to choose from or music to listen to… Probably it’s even better now… it’s about 12 years since I last flew to the USA so I’m sure things have advanced. I’ve used both British Airways and Delta for my USA flights – I highly recommend Delta. They have really friendly flight attendants who create a nice atmosphere… the Americans certainly know how to do customer service. 🙂

Thank you for that info, Steven 🙂 I have done a lot of YouTube research on the flights and everything, I’m quite excited! Will you ever go back to the States?

Thanks for your comments =) I read & reply every one =)
