The Reiss Petite Mia Camel Coat Outfit

The Reiss Petite Mia Camel Coat Outfit

Happy February! Seriously though, where has the time gone? It was only New Year not long ago! I’m finally Covid free, for the most part, there are still some symptoms left over, but I’m doing so much better than before, thank goodness. I will be back home in the UK very soon.

Speaking of the UK, we shot these photos before I left for the USA, so these were taken in early December in one of the lovely Crescents in Bath. I love these locations as backdrops for classier outfits. For this particular look, I was wearing my new Reiss Petite Mia Camel Coat, which I am absolutely obsessed with! I got this a couple of months ago and it’s my favourite coat. I’m so glad they do a petite line as being 5ft 4, I’m right on the cusp of regular and petite, and this coat I needed in petite.

The petite line is around 2 inches shorter in length, and about 1 inch shorter on the sleeves. I definitely recommend it. As I’m smaller, the regular version of this coat was just a bit too long and overwhelmed my small frame, whereas this petite version looks like I am wearing it, rather than it’s wearing me. I couldn’t love this coat more if I tried though. The colour is absolutely stunning and suits my paler, neutral complexion perfectly, plus the shape of the collar is really unique, and the wool construction is really nicely done! I will definitely say that the Reiss Mia Coat is one of my best purchases of 2022!

I wore this coat with my 525 America Turtle Neck, my American Eagle Black Jeggings, and I tucked those into my DUO Empress Thigh High Boots, which I can never get enough of. So this was the base of my ensemble here, and then I chose to wear my new Saint Laurent Small Kate Bag in Black (which I recently picked up in Selfridges in London – it’s absolutely gorgeous and I will be reviewing it soon). I then added in my Burberry Cashmere Scarf in a similar colourway, and then finally wore my Saint Laurent Small Cassandre Belt in Brown Suede to finish it off, which I will also be reviewing soon.

This is probably one of my favourite looks that I’ve put together in a while as I really love neutral browns, beige, blacks and creams for my skin tone. I love the fit of everything as well, so that’s why it’s one of my best in my opinion! I’ve got some more new pieces to share with you soon, and a completely new bedroom/closet makeover to share with you once I am home! Please let me know what you think of this outfit on me in the comments below! Lorna xx.

That is such a beautiful coat on you, I really like the colour with the scarf as well. It’s such a classic style and you wear it well. I’m glad you’re mostly recovered from covid too.

Hi! Compared to the regular size Reiss clothing, yes! It runs small. I was a UK 6 in the regular coat, and a UK 8 in the petite version! Hope that helps!
