Wedding Guest Dresses – 3 Outfits With AW Bridal
I am thrilled to be collaborating with AW Bridal again on another set of dresses. If you recall, the last time I styled two AW Bridal Fairytale Dresses was when I first fell in love with the brand. The most amazing thing is that they offer custom sizing, which is what I did last time, and have done this time, to ensure I get the perfect fit. A lot of the time, when it comes to standard sizing for fitted dresses, the bust area or hip area is too small, or if those sections fit, the waist is too large. Since I am able to give them my exact measurements, I have not had any problems with the dresses fitting at all.
For our collaboration this time, I chose 3 of their wedding guest dresses to style, and I absolutely love how everything turned out. I will go into detail for each dress below, but AW Bridal is also offering you all 10% off your purchase! The code is: Ford10 and you can enter this at the checkout for a discount.
The first dress (above) that I’m wearing is absolutely incredible! It’s called the AW Bridal Alison Dress in Multi Colour, and it features embroidered flowers all over a mesh layer. As soon as I saw this dress, I knew that I was in love with it.
The way the flowers are more of a muted shade at the top, then increase in density with pops of colour near the bottom, makes it a gradient of intensity, in every good way possible. You would definitely stand out from the crowd if you chose this as your wedding guest dress, but I think it would equally make a gorgeous bridesmaid dress too – it’s just perfect!
I styled this floral dress with a Celine Margot Clutch in Smoked Brown and my Tamara Mellon nude suede heels, as I wanted to keep it simple, but elegant and elevated.
Next up is the AW Bridal Sage Garden Party Dress, which features a satin, floral printed fabric, on a wrap dress silhouette. Soft, pastel shades of green are incredibly flattering, especially when it comes to dresses. Of course, this would be absolutely perfect for the spring and summer months, but it will, no doubt, work for any season as it’s universally flattering.
Wrap dresses are ideal for showing off the female figure, as they nip in at the waist and can be worn as tight or as loose as you like, due to the ability to tie them up, which makes them the perfect wedding guest dress in my opinion. This particular dress is listed as a bridesmaid dress, which I do agree, it would be amazing as, but you can equally wear it as a guest that isn’t in the wedding party, as you can see how universal it is.
For this styling, I went with my Saint Laurent Small Manhattan Bag in White, and finished it off with my Tamara Mellon nude suede heels. A simple, silver necklace tied everything together.
Last, but definitely not least, is the AW Bridal Lucie Blazing Yellow Floral Dress, which is another absolute beauty of a garment. Yellow has always been a colour that I tend to shy away from, especially if it’s pale, as it really only works for warmer or more tanned skin tones. Being fair, with a pinkish hue (thank you, English Rose skin!), you have to be super careful. This particular shade of yellow is a really rich, almost golden tone, which actually turned out to be incredibly flattering.
It’s similar to the very first dress in that it has embroidered flowers, but instead of the floral gradient getting stronger at the bottom of the dress, this one is most intense at the top, making the hem a little less extravagant. This Lucie dress also features a halterneck design, which definitely makes more of a statement. I adore it!
I wanted to play off of the golden tones here, so I styled this dress with my Celine Tilly in Sahara as it was a perfect shade of beige, finished off with the same nude heels as the other looks. I think everything is super complementary in this outfit. Which wedding guest dress is your favourite?

Beautiful collection of dresses. You’d be the belle of the ball in any of them. Love how you have styled them, keeping the dress the star of the show with the complimentary accessories. Favourite? The embroidered flowers for me. The yellow feels more spring like, so I’ll go with the multi colours, to me it feels more autumn. 🙂

Thank you for that comment 🙂 I do agree that the yellow is very spring appropriate!
