Every Time That I Wore Wellies & Raincoats
I thought it might be fun to put together an outfit blog post where I showcase every single time that I wore rainwear and wellies. I know a lot of you are fans of these looks, especially living in England, it makes sense to spruce up those gloomy grey days, and since I just did a collaboration with Lighthouse clothing, wearing their rainwear, it inspired me to put this post together!
I went through all of my archives and found 44 outfits featuring wellies or raincoats! I can’t believe I’ve worn them that many times actually! It looks like the first pair of wellies that I got were my Joule’s black gloss pair with the pink ribbons on the back. Those were super cute and I remember feeling invincible! Shortly after that, I acquired the Hunter Navy Gloss wellies (see my post here).
I’ve worn wellies and raincoats with so many different outfits, dressing them up and down, so it really goes to show that you can add rainwear into anything! Because of that, I ended up with a rather large collection of wellington boots, in almost every single colour except for green and yellow! I’ve sold a few pairs over the past however many years, but I still have the boots that I adore! Which were some of your favourite looks?

You know how to style wellies! I didn’t know they were so versatile! I only dig mine out for the snow! Sorry not sure what to call the colour but the ones in photo 22 are a lovely colour with the arching bag! Also the sparkly blue and purple ones. Love your rainbow umbrella, that’s so cool! 😎

Dear LORNA, What a FINE collection of “WUNNEBAR BOOTS ” , after one of Ur best foto´s t( Cable/ChainRED pullover withRed GLOSSY “ROCHFISH “-Wellies, w Deep gusset) I managed to order then Too, but after maybe 1 Y the gloss was off ..I DON´t like Matt wellies too much !
I even had luck in getting Hunter FITZK/ROVIA, W24139 FX0611 !! in Glossy Black , a wedged Boot with bandsaround Ankle with a metal strip at the back and a little ring to hold the four strifes of Rubber. I wonder though , that U haven´t obviously these very “Exquisite ” ACQUO Boots , in two veriations, without heel And with a six cm blockheel, and in different heights fr 40 to 80 cm ! In fact its a nice rubber SHOE with avery souple Shaft : I prefere the flat one with a 55-60 cm height , depending on calves circunfence one can take 0ne or two sizes down ..!! Maybe U have the oppotunity to try them, in sizes 38-47 and only in Black 8 they announced new models with evt coloured boots !!! OK KEEP ON doing and SHOW when U LOVE/LIKE the outfit , ..by SMILING and LAUGHING .You ARE ..”WUNNEBAR”.BEST Wishes fr WILLEM dBr., GERMANY, 47259 Duisburg,NRW.
