A Purple Flower Dress From Summer
Hey everyone! I have a few outfits from the summertime that I never got around to sharing. Once I got back from the USA, I had some collaborations to get done first, so even though it’s autumn right now, I’m still sharing my warmer-weather looks. I actually really miss the summer (I say that now that it’s cold, while complaining when it’s too hot, ha ha!) as I get to wear such cute dresses!
So let’s get to one of the outfits I wore a lot in Ohio – this beautiful purple-and-white floral dress! Now, I know this piece is from Shein, which does get a bad reputation; however, since I do not fit any of my clothes at all, I didn’t really have anything to wear out in the United States. I wanted to get a few pieces without spending too much money, and this Elenzga floral dress was perfect. It’s actually stunning!
I don’t intend to throw this away after this summer, as I don’t work like that; I’m not a seasonal shopper who discards clothes after each season. I plan to keep this for many years and wear it. It’s one dress that received a lot of compliments, too, as did the pink version of it that I also have. It’s currently only £5.99 since the summer season is over, and it’s a really nice dress! I’m wearing size large, if that helps anyone, as it tends to run a little bit small.
I styled this dress with my Dune London White Sandals and matched that to my DeMellier Tokyo Bag in White. I think the white accessories are the perfect accompaniment to this purple and white floral dress. I’ve worn these sandals quite a lot over the last couple of years – they work with every dress I’ve worn!
I did a DeMellier Tokyo Bag review a while back, so you should definitely check that out if you like this bag! I own it in Black and Beige as well as this white – it’s a fantastic bag that’s easy to use and spacious. I know a lot of you are still purchasing the Tokyo from my links, so that proves what a cool bag it is!
Then, for my jewellery, I opted for this Bauble Bar Tennis Bracelet that I’ve actually owned for a few years now, and absolutely adore! It looks more like a pale, champagne shade of gold due to the opalescent effect of the stones on it. I’ve worn this bracelet so much – it might be my most worn piece!
I also wore this Daisy London Pearl and Gold Shell Necklace. Again, this is a necklace that I have worn so much of! It’s definitely a favourite as it’s unique and pretty, but also dainty and elegant at the same time.
So that’s it for this ensemble. Christen and I had fun shooting these photos at a nature centre on one of the summer evenings. It was really hot and humid, but I thought these purpleish flowers would be the perfect backdrop for this look. When I look at these photos, I smile, as I remember what the summer evenings were like compared to now. I also had my longer hair! I don’t know if I regret cutting it or not, ha ha. Anyway, let me know what you think of this outfit, and I hope this summer look cheers up your chilly day!

Looks fabulous! You would never know the dress cost so little! Gorgeous outfit you’ve put together with the simple white accessories. So creative tying the background in to the look, great photos. Who says we can’t wear things next year and have to buy more? Much better for the environment. Ha ha! We wouldn’t be British if we didn’t complain about the weather! 😂 I do miss the light evenings

I full agree with that! We always have to complain, lol! I’m glad you like the outfit though and the choice of the background 🙂
