Christmas Party Inspired Outfit – Sequin Skirt & Cute Bow Top

Hey everyone! We’re getting into the Holiday season now, and I’ve bought a few new pieces specifically for this time of year! This includes a few cute and fun Christmas jumpers (sweaters) and some sequin party pieces! I couldn’t wait to share one of them with you, so here it is!

These two clothing pieces here are affordable as they’re from New Look! You absolutely loved them on my Instagram stories, wanting the links immediately, so here we are. This New Look Black Bow Applique Top is on sale for £16.49, and the New Look Dark Burgundy Sequin Mini Skirt is £29.99. These scream Christmas party or New Year’s Eve party to me! They both complement each other well and are so dressy and festive!

The large sequins on this skirt are really cool, too. They feel robust and strong, and make me feel like a mermaid when I rub my hands over them! They make a ‘shaky’ noise and feel really cool, ha ha. Plus, the way they reflect light is so pretty, as you can see in the photos! They reflect a burgundy, purple, blueish tone!

The bow top is another super cute piece! I actually had to re-order this in a larger size as it was too small in the bust, so if you have a larger bust, I definitely recommend sizing up in it. I love the purple version that it comes in, too, but it’s sold out in my size. This is definitely a top that I’ll be wearing a lot of as it’s super feminine and cool, plus the bows are perfect for the season.

Now for my jewellery, I went with my Oliver Bonas Cowboy Boot Necklace as it’s so cool! I love anything Western, and this is petite enough to look elegant and classic, so it’s perfect for this kind of look, as you want the clothing pieces to really pop and be the focal point of the look.

Then, for my earrings, I wore my Astrid & Miyu Dome Link Hoops in Gold as they make a statement without being too much. They’re hoops with a linked hoop on them, which is totally removable as well, so you get two earrings in one! Plus, they are on sale at the moment with their Black Friday discount! I have these earrings in both gold and silver, and I recommend both.

For my shoes, I wore my trusty Christian Louboutin Pigalle 100 Pumps in Black (buy the Kate version here) as these are the ultimate classic when it comes to dressing up elegant outfits with heels! I’ve had these for so many years, as you know, and I’d say they are my most worn heels. The heel taps have actually broken on them now, though, so I need to get them fixed!

Finally, for my bag, I wore my Saint Laurent Kate Bag in Black as I thought this really played off the black top, heels, and gold jewellery. It ties everything together so nicely. I’ve worn this bag a lot, usually cross-body, but it doubles up as a clutch like this if you tuck the gold chain inside of it. The Kate really dresses up any look – it looks so classy!

I kept my makeup and hair simple, so the Christmas party outfit can do the talking, but please do let me know what you think of it!
