The Christmas Cat Jumper
It’s only twelve sleeps to go, and it’s Christmas Day! Ha ha. According to my Advent calendar, anyway!
Here’s another festive outfit that I wore recently, which is very similar to the ‘how to dress up a Christmas jumper‘ post I did a couple of weeks ago, but with a different colour palette.
For this outfit, I went with pieces from New Look again (I purchased all of these), so I’m wearing a Meowy Christmas Cat Jumper, which actually has faux fluffy fur on it, ha ha! I tucked it into a Black Satin Midi Skirt, which elevated the youthful playfulness of the jumper, and then added the Knee High Brown Faux Suede Boots, as these really work with the skirt. To finish everything off, I chose my DeMellier Tokyo Bag in Black, just to tie in the black theme.
I know nearly all of the pieces in this outfit are black, but I chose brown boots because black boots would be too much. That would make the entire look the same, and there wouldn’t be enough contrast, so I think it’s super important in an outfit like this to choose one piece in a different colour to break it up.

This is actually one of my favourite Christmas jumpers that I own. I love cats, and this cat in a tree with sequins and texture is just the cutest thing! It’s not to everyone’s tastes, but it’s adorable!
Anyway, I’m actually keeping this blog post short as I’m pretty exhausted from a trip to London. I’m trying to type this all with a headache and sore legs, so it’s a bit more difficult than I anticipated! But as always, comment your opinions below!

The jumper is super cute. So adorable. I like the black, it’s sophisticated and with so much colour it makes a change. Cats are great at Christmans “helping” to wrap presents and playing with the baubles on the tree. One of mine used to look a lot like your jumper as she liked climbing the tree! Hope you enjoyed London and recover soon. 🙂

Unfortunately I don’t, I was always too worried about rescuing her so she didn’t hurt herself. I regret it now but I’ve got the memories. 🙂

Memories are the best 🙂 I always find that cats never actually need rescueing either, ha ha!
For most cats that’s probably true. Ruby had a habit of climbing into places and then not being able to get down. Her favourite was on top of the kitchen cupboards!😂
