Styling The Dune Tayla Knee High Boots

Styling The Dune Tayla Knee High Boots

As you know, tall boots are an absolute staple of mine! Whether that’s over-the-knee or knee high, I have always been obsessed with boots. There’s something about them that just pulls any outfit together and gives it that chic vibe that other footwear just doesn’t have. I will say that I usually favour tall boots with heels, but lately, I’ve been wearing a lot more flat shoes, and I’m loving it!

When I saw how gorgeous these Dune Tayla Knee High Boots were on the Dune website, I knew they would quickly become a favourite of mine! So here I am, showing you the first styling of these pretty boots in collaboration with Dune. I’ve styled a few different pairs of their shoes in the past, but this is the first time opting for a pair of boots from their collection.

I usually don’t buy tall boots from anyone other than DUO, however, their selection of late hasn’t been good, and I find their ordering process has gone downhill, so I’m not really looking at them anymore. The reason that I always had custom calf sizes was because my calves were on the smaller side, but since I’ve gained some weight, my calves have grown too.

The calf circumference measurement of these Dune Tayla boots is 37cm, which is absolutely perfect for me now! So I would go as far as to say that these do fit narrower calves. My calf size used to be 34cm, and then it was 35cm, so if your calves are slimmer than 37cm, these could still work over some jeans, in my opinion. If you have wide calves, they also do a ‘wide calf’ fit in these exact boots.

These Dune Tayla Knee High Boots are crafted in-house with premium suede, set on a low block heel with a stretch back for the perfect fit. They really are stretchy! These boots are a go-to style for days you need to look stylish and be on your feet all day, so you can’t go wrong with them as they’re super comfortable.

I’m generally between a UK 6 and 7, but I had to take a 7 in these as the 6 was just a bit too small. They also come in many different colours, including tan and black, so I definitely recommend checking them out. These boots retail for £159, which I think is fairly affordable for what they are, and comparing them to others on the market.

Now for my outfit, I styled these Dune Tayla Brown Suede Knee High Boots with my Hollister Brown Mini Skirt. I love the pink floral pattern on this skirt, and the ruffled hem, so I think it’s the perfect mix of girly and fun. I wore my New Look Brown Jumper with it, to keep the brown themes going, and then finished it off with my Celine Nano Luggage Bag in Glazed Chestnut and my Brixton Hat.

I wanted to go with multiple shades of brown to really enhance the boots, but also give it a summery/wintry feel. This would, of course, be an ideal outfit to wear in the autumn, but I think it works for almost any season. I would like to know what you think of this outfit and how I styled the boots, too. I love reading your comments below!

Fabulous outfit! The boots look like they were made for you, they fit perfectly. Love how you styled them. The suede adds a luxurious touch and the hat gives the outfit a country feel. The browns all complement each other and even the background joined in! All makes for fantastic photos. 🙂 I’m a big fan of boots, I like the extra support they give my ankles.
