A Red Coat With Wide Leg Trousers

Hey guys! I wasn’t sure exactly what to title this blog post, as first of all, these pictures were shot in December, and I was planning to use them for a Christmas blog post. Then I decided I would use them for a Valentine’s Day post; however, none of that went to plan.

Sometimes I get a big mental block when it comes to editing pictures, as it takes a lot of brain power and time to select the right angles, etc. And this post contains a lot of pictures. Anyway, they’re being shared now, and I truly love them! I’ve had one of the pictures of Christen and me as my phone lock screen for months! I have my mum to thank for shooting those!

Now, getting to my outfit, I was wearing this stunning Reiss Red Lucia Tailored Coat in Petite (it’s in the SALE!). It’s a double-faced wool blend coat with blind seams and no lining, which gives the same smooth, premium feel inside and out. Its double-breasted silhouette has two buttons and a self-tie belt, balancing structure with fluidity. I adore it! Most of my coats are in neutral tones, but this is the one I have worn most during the colder season. It’s so bright and fun! I have no regrets purchasing it.

I layered the Reiss Lucia Coat over a Stradivarius Turtleneck Top in Beige to create a simple base, then opted for my Reiss Black Bella Joggers. You literally cannot tell these are made from jogger material! They are crafted from premium interlock jersey and have a wide-leg silhouette and a drawstring waist. I bought these in 3 colours, that’s how much I adore them! They are the most comfiest trouser I own, and they look so sleek and classy too! Reiss absolutely nailed it with these!

Then, for my accessories and shoes, I opted to wear my Saint Laurent Nano Sac De Jour in Cherry Jam, as it complemented the red of my coat, but had a different shade to give it some depth. I love this bag! It’s the perfect colour of burgundy for me.

Now for my shoes, I chose my Loeffler Randall Isla Ankle Booties in Black Suede. You have seen me wearing these boots for years on and off! They are my favourite black heeled boots! I also own these in three different colours as well: light beige, brown, and the black here. I don’t regret any of these either!

For those of you interested in Christen’s outfit, as I know I have male readers too, he was wearing a Saint Laurent Chesterfield Overcoat in Black, which he layered over a Marks & Spencer’s Burgundy Merino Wool Turtleneck. I love the shade of this burgundy on him! He also wore his American Eagle Skinny Jeans and then chose his Aldo Black Leather Chelsea Boots. He chose to wear these instead of his Saint Laurent Chelsea Boots, as it’s so wet here, he didn’t want to worry about damaging them too much.

I’m really happy that we have these pictures together, as I often find it’s harder than you think getting some professional-looking pictures of you and your partner, ha ha.
