Burgundy Velvet Skirt & Faux Fur Coat

I have one last look to share with you from the wintery months, and it’s one of my favourites! I’m pretty sure that you know that burgundy and plum shades are two of my favourite colours. They have so much depth and richness to them, I can never get enough of those jewel tones. So when I saw this Burgundy Velvet Petite Skirt from New Look last year, I knew that I would be obsessed with it! It was really affordable, and so pretty!

The best thing was that my New Look Burgundy Faux Fur Coat matched the colour of it perfectly too! I mentioned that I had three of these coats, and you’re finally seeing the plum burgundy version. I think this one ended up being my favourite coat of the whole winter. Faux fur keeps you so warm, and rich shades like this are just absolutely gorgeous. Now for my top, you have seen this one before! Again, it’s from New Look, and I wore it with a sequin skirt in a previous look. Kind of similar, but also different. I think this Black Bow Top is really cute and fun, as it can be worn in the summertime too with some warmer weather looks, just as much as it can in the winter.

For my shoes, I opted to wear my Christian Louboutin Pigalle 100 in Black again, as I think these are the ultimate classic heels that you can wear. They’re so elegant and suit everything, plus they really tie the colours together since they match the top.

Then finally, for my bag, I wore my Cult Gaia Mini Hera Sequin Bag that you have seen a fair few times! I love this bag as it adds so much glitz and glam to your outfit. Who doesn’t love crystals? I certainly do! I then finished it off with some silver-toned jewellery to complete the look. Since I am a neutral skin-tone, I tend to swap back and forth between silver and gold jewellery as they both suit me with different looks, but I think this one called for silver!
