I haven’t done a new purchases post in quite a while, so I thought it was about time that I did. Over the past month or so I have acquired a few new things while trying to stock up my Autumn wardrobe! You probably already know by now that Autumn is my favourite time of year and I can never get enough jackets and coats to suit the season. I’m also very much addicted to accessories in the form of jewellery and anything sparkly!
Above I have 3 new little things that I got as I am loving gold at the moment. I have a nail polish from Topshop in a pale and pearly gold which I think is absolutely gorgeous! I managed to finally stop biting my nails about 2 months ago so I can’t wait to start painting them! I purchased the other 2 bracelets from River Island when I fell in love with them. I’m a sucker for gold chains and had been wanting one as a bracelet for some time. I’m not really a fan of the bracelets with clasps though as it’s pretty impossible to put them on and off yourself, so when I saw this one with a t-bar closure, I knew it would be perfect! Finally, that brings me to the beetle bracelet, isn’t it amazing? The coloured stones were what originally attracted me to the bracelet in the first place as I love rainbows, but I think the giant beetle on the front of it gives it so much character! It’s gorgeous!
I have 2 pairs of the Topshop metallic toe cap heels already, so these now make a third! I own the black and silver combination as well as the nude and silver, but now I have here a pair in mint with silver! These style shoes are amazing because they aren’t too high, they are about 3 inches in height and they fit securely on my feet so I don’t have to do any sock trick to stretch my shoes or putting tape in my shoes to keep my feet in. They are the perfect fit! I also think mint is a pretty shade of pale green, it might be more suited to Spring, but I’m not too worried! The best part about these shoes? I won them on eBay for only £7 and they were brand new! It doesn’t get better than that does it?
This gorgeous thick jacket or lighter weight coat is from Zara. I purchased it last month when I fell in love with it online. I was in need of a new grey coat as the only one I have is about 4-5 years old, so this one really fits the bill! I like the black accents it has on it and the woolen collar. It’s definitely a gorgeous coat and I can’t wait to wear it with my jeans and heels when it gets cool enough. Do you like it?
I purchased this from River Island as well last week when I got the bracelets. I actually had 25% off with a code I got in Elle magazine, so it was a deal I didn’t want to pass up! It’s a faux leather dark brown gilet/sleeveless jacket and I think it will be perfect worn over jumpers/sweaters or just over t-shirts or dresses. I’m looking forward to being able to wear this! I didn’t have a leather style gilet in dark brown.
I actually purchased this new black coat from Zara about 4 months ago in the sale. I don’t have a long black coat which fits well and has nice details to it, so I thought it was about time that I did! It had an amazing discount to it, so I definitely couldn’t say no! I think the fact that I purchased it in Spring was a good thing because the price was even cheaper than usual. I think I got it for about £40! I love the faux leather lapels and details that the coat has and the black and white striped lining, it’s so much fun!
This isn’t a purchase of mine, but I got sent a pretty necklace from Objets de Desir in Bristol and it came with this gorgeous canvas tote! I wanted to feature it because the elephant and tiger details with the purple flowers is so pretty. It’s definitely one of the best canvas totes I’ve received as a gift so far!
This also wasn’t a purchase of mine, I chose it online and then it was given to me by BANK Clothing for sharing with you here on Raindrops of Sapphire. You probably already know that I absolutely adore leather style jackets and this one is really nice. It has a ruched sleeves effect and more of a moto collar. I’m not sure why the zipper details look pink here, it could have possibly been a reflection in the metal, but they are in fact silver! I’ve worn this jacket already and will have an outfit post for you very soon!
Finally, my Instagram magnets from Stickygram! You originally saw these last week in my Instagram round up post, but I thought I would share them with you properly. Stickygram is great because you can transfer your Instagram snaps to magnets or iPhone cases. You only have to login with your account and then select which photos you want to use and position them on the sample. It’s amazing! I think these magnets are around $12 or £10! If you use the code FRIENDPAK3 you will get a discount on your purchase too.
– So, which of my new items do you like the most?

Author
Hi, it actually sold out pretty quickly, it hasn’t been available online for a while now 🙁
i know, sad times, i really wanted this coat! haha! is there some sort of an item code on it, on the tag maybe?, so i might be able to try and locate it in one of the stores? xx
Author
What type of code do you mean?
theres normally a small white tag/label on the inside of the coat? it might say the style number on it or something. if you cant find it , then no worries, ill have to give up on this coat! :'( hahha! x

Have you got a Zara store near you? I will try to find out when I get the coat out of my closet, but I’m not sure if it will help or not, sorry! Have you tried eBay?
I really love the grey Zara coat and wish I could buy it for myself but I believe it’s sold out 🙁 If you happen to know anywhere I might still get it, that would be great =)
