An outfit preview of one of my looks I published a little while ago.
It’s been a little while since I shared an Instagram post with you, so I have selected some of my favourite photos from over the past three or so weeks. I don’t post all of my Instagram photos on my blog though, as I like to keep some exclusivity on there, so make sure you follow my account @LornaRaindrops to keep up to date with what I am doing. I always post outfit previews, scenery from when I’m out, my cats, new purchases etc, so it’s a great way to follow me! It’s one of my favourite social media platforms!
Anyway, onto life lately… It’s been pretty quiet for me. I know it’s a terribly British thing to do, to moan about the weather, but honestly we have had some of the worst weather ever lately. We have had huge storms which have knocked trees down all over and even killed some people unfortunately and smashed their homes. It’s been a constant amount of rain, every single day and grey skies. Also, since our clocks went back last weekend, it’s now really dark at 5pm, which I have never been a fan of. I like daylight too much! So with all that being said, I haven’t left the house for a whole week. I have stayed in, kept warm and dry and have been avoiding it. I can’t say I have much to report in terms of excitement, but I am off to London this week! Very soon actually and will be documenting my trip via Instagram like I always do, so stay tuned for that. I hope the weather will be better, I really do! I don’t like the idea of wandering around London in the pouring rain. It happened to me last time and I was soaked and uncomfortable for the rest of the day. I am very excited to see the new styles from brands though! I’m going to be seeing Paige, AG Jeans, 7FAM, Ksubi, Warehouse, Storm, PRPS, A.N.D and more! I can’t wait to share those with you!
I was walking along the street in town and looked up, this looked like it would make the perfect photo from where I was stood, so I snapped it. I love how it turned out and I really do love living in an historical town.
This was the gorgeous view by the river from last weekend, before the storm came in. The leaves looked so pretty!

Fuchsia Gerbera’s are my favourite flowers! I love that they have them on the table of my favourite Italian restaurant. This was taken about 3 weeks ago when the weather was much nicer!

I saw these Paige jeans at the press day earlier this year and fell in love with them! I found them on eBay for an amazing deal which I could not pass up! So they now belong to me!

It’s made specifically for the British Legion Poppy Appeal and it’s a much more inventive take on the paper poppy brooch people normally pin to their tops or jackets. This shot came out really cool I think. It was a dark and rainy night when I went to go meet my boyfriend at the train station, the car lights in front looked pretty!
