(Jeans – Exact, Jacket – Similar, Bag – Exact, Shoes – Similar, Scarf – Similar, Watch – Similar)
This is the outfit I wore on the Sunday before Christmas. I was seeing my grandparents on my dads side first to give them their gifts and some photos and then stopping for lunch with my mums side of the family. My gran doesn’t live near me, so it’s always nice to be able to see her when she travels down and my other relatives that I don’t see often. Unfortunately my grampy is no longer with us as he passed away a couple of years ago, so Christmas isn’t really the same without him, but we try to make do. I am glad that there are certain times of the year when we get to spend a lot of time with everyone when we usually don’t. I always find that it’s important to be comfortable though as when I’m out for big family meals, they can often take hours, so I don’t like to be dressed up too much, especially not when it’s freezing! So that brings me to this outfit!
I wore my AG Adriano Goldschmied The Legging Jeans in 16 Years Swap Meat with my Topshop Camo Jacket and Tan High Tops. I got these jeans quite a few months ago, back in the summer actually, but I never wore them back then because they were too tight for me. I took my regular AG size of 26 and they were super tight, so I wet stretched them for a while, but then put them back in their bag with intentions of selling them, but never got around to it. I’m glad I didn’t because I pulled them back out and miraculously they fit me now and are even slightly loose! It’s almost like somehow they stretched in the bag because I’m pretty sure I haven’t lost any weight, ha ha. They are gorgeous jeans though and I honestly can’t wait to wear them more!
For my accessories, I wore my camo and burgundy print scarf from Zara and my Cambridge Satchel 11″ Satchel in Vintage Brown. I think this bag always goes perfectly with these shoes as the colours are almost identical! Even though I don’t wear this jacket very often on my blog, I do wear it a lot for normal days. It’s always been one of my go to jackets for trips to London and errands because it’s lined with faux fur and is so warm and comfortable. I wasn’t sure at first how well the scarf would go with this look, but I like the idea of mixing two of the same prints together, especially when they look so different from each other. I hope you are all well and enjoying today as it’s New Years Eve! Do you have any fun plans for it? As always, comment and let me know what you think of the outfit! I always love to read what you have to say!

I seriously love how casual cool this outfit is! The combination of a neutral color palette with a pop of color from the scarf looks absolutely amazing together :]

Thank you Deborah :]
I could kick myself for admitting it; but it’s actually nice to see you in casual once in a while.
But at least it shows that your figure stands out even without inches and inches of heels; and that you’re beautiful even without makeup.
Love how the boots/bag and scarf add subtle colors that keep the look from collapsing into anonymity.
Kisses and compliments – And all the best for 2014 !

Thanks Karsten! I do like to be casual a lot of the time, I think so many women do ha ha. By make up, do you mean lipstick? And all the best of 2014 to you too!
And of course, many guys like women to be less casual ‘a lot of the time’ 🙂 And you’re doing that to perfection.
Yes, I guess it’s mainly the lipstick I meant. Eye-makeup is obviously there; but you’ve applied it with such a subtle skill that I initially thought it wasn’t there. So much for my attempt at gentlemanly perception.
