Spring is such a beautiful season isn’t it? I’m not a huge fan of Winter, not just because it’s freezing, wet and windy, but because there’s no colour. When Spring finally arrives and the flowers start to bloom, it really cheers me up and reminds me just how pretty the world is. I’ve always loved pastel pink blossom ever since I was little, there’s just something about it which is so beautiful. I think seeing pink trees when I’m out is what makes me love it so much, it’s such a pretty change from the usual green or orange Autumn leaves! It just so happened to work out really well for these photos in terms of scenery though! I had put this outfit together and we were looking around for the perfect location to shoot the photos. It turns out that the place we chose has a beautiful blossom tree in the background, so it couldn’t have been more perfect to match my pink inspired outfit!
For my look here, I wore my Yoga Jeans in Black which are gorgeous! They have a knitted back so they are a super soft ponte material and then a coated black denim on the front, so they look like jeans. I find them so flattering and comfortable, it’s crazy how stretchy they are! I paired them with a simple pastel pink t-shirt from H&M and then layered over my new Zara Grey Blazer. I purchased this blazer at the same time I got the yellow coat and pastel blue leather jacket. I saw it online for a while and I just love blazers which are made of a stretchy jersey material. They are so comfortable to wear and you can easily move about in them, yet they hold their structure really well! This one has faux leather accents on it on the buttons and tops of the pockets too! It’s beautiful!
For my shoes, I’m pretty sure you know what these are already as I just shared them with you yesterday! They are my Christian Louboutin Pigalle 100 in Black Kid. I found them to be a perfect match with this outfit! You can’t see the red soles from the front so it doesn’t clash with the pink. You can see them from behind, but my blazer covers any pink that way so it works really well! Now onto the accessories, I chose my Mulberry Lily Bag in Candy Pink Denim a it was the perfect shade of pink that I needed! I actually did some folding and hiding of the chain so I could turn it into a little carrying bag! It suited the outfit a lot more! Then finally, for my jewellery, I wore this beautiful Storm Rose Gold Heart Necklace which I got given by the brand for Valentine’s Day and my older Topshop Owl Ring. Couldn’t agree more about the blossom on the trees – it’s so awe inspiring that nature can be so dull and dark in Winter and then transform so magically come Spring! I lover Autumn too for its rich colours and textures but it’s always tinged with sadness with Winter creeping up behind! Loving the Yoga jeans they look really cool and the Mulberry bag is divine!
