Those of you who know me or read my blog on a frequent basis will know that denim is literally my life. It’s been a passion and an addiction of mine for as long as I can remember and there’s nothing I love more in fashion than an amazing pair of jeans. You may remember my post that I wrote a while back on my obsession with jeans and my favourite denim, detailing just how much I love it, so this new project that I have been working on is very fitting and was a natural transition for me.
So, without babbling on anymore, here it is. It’s a brand new blog/website called The Jeans Blog and it’s dedicated to everything denim! For those of you worried, don’t be, I am still at DenimBlog and that will remain, but The Jeans Blog is my own space online for denim, giving creative freedom and the ability to write about anything that I want, denim related of course. It’s sort of like an extension of all blogs combined, so I would love for you to check it out. So far, so many brands have been supportive and many of you have been too, which means so much to me! The blog took me a week to set up and design and the theme is very denim orientated, as you can see. It’s got a lot of unique content like history of brands, inspirations, get the looks, denim roundups, detailed look books and more! I hope you enjoy it! I would love to know your thoughts!

Wow, that’s a great idea! I’m definitely going to check it out 🙂 You are involved in and created a few different blogs now, is it a lot of work to be a part of more then one blog? What gave you the idea to not just stick to one blog? I hope this is not too personal? Greetings 🙂

Hi Breanna, your questions aren’t too personal, don’t worry 🙂 It’s very difficult running more than one blog as I’m not doing 4, so allocating the right amount of time between them all and social media time too can be challenging, it’s pretty much a 24/7 job which I can’t shut off from, but I absolutely love it and I couldn’t imagine myself doing anything else other than blogging. The idea for different blogs is because of what I want to write about. I’m already the editor of DenimBlog, so I have an extreme passion for denim, but not enough creative freedom, so having my own space for denim was important to me. It’s not something that would fit in with Raindrops of Sapphire as it’s a personal blog and I only post about my outfits or personal life, travels etc. I never post look books and things like that. It also didn’t fit too well with The Fashion Supernova. I set that one up because I wanted to cover general fashion which wasn’t personal and again, it didn’t fit with Raindrops, so a separate site was needed. It’s important to me that my blogs have a specific niche and voice and they aren’t just one that covers anything and everything, I like them to have a focus. That’s why I wanted more than one, but yep, it’s a tonne of hard work and many many long hour days from waking up until going to sleep lol 🙂
