You probably recognise this outfit as the one that I wore in my Instagram photos from London post. We never took the camera to London as you know, but I loved this outfit so much that I wore it on the weekend again to share with you on the blog, just with a couple of adjustments. I had flat sandals and a different bag for my London look, but I changed those two out to make it a little more stylish and colourful!
I wore my ASOS skater skirt in burgundy with a bird print because it’s incredibly comfortable and stretchy, it doesn’t even feel like you are wearing anything on the bottom, so it’s nice and breezy! I paired it with my Forever 21 tie front shirt in navy as this is another cool piece, made of thin cotton so it’s easy to wear in the heat. For my shoes, I opted for my Sam Edelman Yelena heels as they smarten up the look a bit and give some length to my legs.
Now for my accessories, I wore my new Cambridge Satchel Mini in yellow as I bought this in the boutique in London in the sale. I absolutely couldn’t resist it as the yellow is so pretty and the price was amazing! I then wore my Ray-Ban aviators in mirrored blue, my Olivia Burton butterfly watch and some various different bracelets. On another note, I wanted to say it was really nice reading your comments on my birthday thoughts post! I’m so glad it went down well and that you could relate to it. I also wanted to share with you a post that I was a part of for Quiz Clothing, talking about finding the right dresses for your body shape for different occasions. Hourglass is mine, so it was great sharing some tips! Mainly though, I wanted to say that I am overwhelmed by the support that everyone is giving to The Jeans Blog. It’s absolutely incredible and it’s growing at such a rapid rate, I didn’t expect it to be this successful so early on!
