Happy early Halloween everyone! I truly do love any excuse to get dressed up and Halloween is one of the best of them. My family and I don’t celebrate the holiday, so that’s why I’ve shot these photos early and am sharing them with you now! I’ve always wanted to be Tinkerbell as she’s been my favourite Disney character since I was little, so when I found this gorgeous adult Tinkerbell costume on Sparkling Strawberries, I knew this was the one for me! I usually struggle finding a costume that looks really good and fits well, so it’s like a dream come true! I absolutely adore it!
So, I got dressed up early and headed out into the woods to shoot these photos with Adam. Yes, I did get some funny looks from passing hikers, one of them even said that he had never seen a real fairy in the woods before, ha ha, but hey, there’s a first for everything right? I also can’t get over the fact that I have a pair of wings so wearing this outfit to me was like being a kid in a massive candy store all over again! The jewels on the front of the dress are super pretty and the piping makes it act like a stretch corset all around, so it fits well too.
Last year you might remember that I dressed up as a cat, and I’m already deciding what I’m going to dress up as for Christmas and next Halloween! I can’t wait! I absolutely love your costume I remember when you did the preview a few weeks ago and I thought it fit your personality very well. Though you are a rather small person with a sweet little voice you do big and bold things every day for all of us to enjoy! I think Tinkerbell could be a twin of yours in a past life or potentially you were Tinkerbell way back in the Peter Pan days! Just do me a big favor and sprinkle a little bit of pixie dust on me, so I can fly across the ocean and potentially have lunch with you sometime! Or better yet go shopping

Ha ha, thank you Karsten! I sort of feel like I’m in Neverland since I never seem to age, weirdly, but I guess in actual fact, my ways are not that much like Tinkerbell when you put them all out like that! Only with the stubbornness I would say.
And of course, I love the playful ‘adult’ version of your Tinkerbell with added attraction of those kissable red lips and the sexiest high-heeled legs in Neverland – Now we know why the Lost Boys chose NOT to return to London after all.

My 2nd Favourite of your Autumn 2014 looks. 🙂
OK… I totally get that this is a novelty outfit and so maybe not really an autumn look as such but I had to include it in my list. It’s green (so very green!!!), it’s magical, it’s cute and you make a very convincing looking fairy with your wand and wings. So what’s not to like? 🙂 I came quite close to making this my 1st place choice actually. LOL
