(Wellies – Exact, Jeans – Exact & Similar, Jacket – Exact, Hat – Exact)
As most of you know already, I live in the countryside and am surrounded by a lot of farm land and nature, so instead of doing a regular outfit post like fashion bloggers always do, I thought it might be nice to share with you something more in the lifestyle department. I love to go on walks and explore my surroundings, so this time we took the camera with us!
This is me dressed in my countryside attire, ha ha. This always includes a pair of Hunter wellies so I don’t worry where I tread, and trust me, you can step in a lot of bad things lol, coupled with a windbreaker and waterproof jacket, this one being from Peter Storm, and a pair of warm jeans, like my Citizens of Humanity Rocket jeans, finally finished with a hat, this one being from Topshop. Depending on the weather I sometimes have gloves and a scarf with me, to keep me warm.
I actually got these Hunter boots and the Peter Storm jacket from the popular outdoors store, Blacks. Some of you might already know it, but if you don’t, they are great for having everything you need when out and about in the country, so it’s really nice to be able to collaborate with them. Getting to the scenery though, I’ve taken a few photos of the stream/brook near me and of my adventures, so I hope you enjoy them! And of course, if you are wearing wellies, how can you not splash about in water?! Let me know what you think!

Love the purple in the outfit. I haven’t seen many people wear the Aubergine Hunters much but they look incredible, especially on you! As always, you make Hunters look great and are a HUGE reason why i love them 🙂
Sadly i have to admit i must retire my black matte adjustable Hunters, they were my very first pair but lately the inside where my back heel pushes down on the left foot is wearing completely out to the point of uncomfortable to walk in. I thought about insoles but they are just wearing too much to keep patching up.
With that however, i think a new pair of black ones are in order. Think its time i get me my first gloss pair?

I have one on my Instagram of 4 pairs of Hunter boots together! But not the full 6 now 🙂 Yeah, the Navy ones are the ones I wear the most actually. They get the most use since they go with absolutely everything!
Yes i agree! Though i was always partial to my black ones. Nothing says confident and sexy like some tall black boots! My other ones i have pretty limited outfit choices i like to wear with them. I think your next pair should either be fuschia pink or forest green. Absolutely love the color on them and think you would too!

I don’t want anything too bright as I probably wouldn’t wear them much, so I think my next pair would be burgundy! Gloss burgundy! But now that I have 6 pairs, I don’t have any room for anymore lol!
Haha theres always room for more Hunters! Burgundy would be a great choice! I saw your pic of the wellies together, i think its cute! You have them all lined up just how mine are in my closet. Also idk if that bandage dress you posted is you wearing it or not but it is a slammin sexy dress!

Yeah that is me, if it’s not me in a photo I will credit who it belongs to, but yeah that’s my dress! I will be posting it in a couple of weeks here on the blog once the weather is nicer to shoot the photos!
Excellent! You should definitely get yourself a rugby shirt though! Ralph Lauren makes them in many different styles but they are super comfy and warm, great for a fall/winter attire! Heres a pic of just one example:

Not really, I mean it’s around and it’s mainly the posher boys that wear it, like the Cambridge and Oxford boys, but other than that no, I never see any women in it or anything 🙂
Wow im kinda surprised. I mean i understand the posh boys, same here but posh girls do too as well. Admittedly i have a soft spot for it, especially the big pony polos.

Oh the ones with laces I don’t like. I think they look really strange and not really like any wellies I’ve seen, I wouldn’t wear them. Yeah I never see girls in it, I guess they tend to dress a little differently around here lol.

Sounds like you’ll have to have a competition – she’s also a fan of hunters & has a few Joules pairs though think they’re relegated to car boot last time I checked. Keep saying she has enough but strangely enough every 6 months or a new colour proves too hard to resist & voila, the collections extended ! I know what you mean about British weather too, I think of late fashion’s catching onto the fact that here in Uk we get a LOT of rain hence lots of raincoats, etc becoming more fashionable whether that be classic Burberry trench or cute waterproofs. Been seeing a lot of yellow around lately that perhaps previously were only seen on fishermen but now considered otherwise … this kinda thing

Oh this coat here was the one I wore as it was lightweight and I got it with the wellies from the company I was working for in the post. I actually love yellow rain coats like that! I think they are cool. They remind me a lot of Paddington the Bear. I definitely need to invest in a really pretty raincoat I think, it’s just finding one that’s the issue. I have the Damson Hunter’s on my wish list now too, lol!
LOL You do have good taste & oddly enough aside from sharing an ever-expanding wellie collection my other half has also recently acquired a yellow raincoat ! Checked our Petit bateau one that they sell in Urban Outfitters but settled on rubber-coated one from joules after & seems pleased & definitely keeps her dry. I wont bother posting links as sure you’re on top of things but she went for shorter length one as apparently cuter & less fisherman like lol
Not heard of damson hunters previously but just looked – nice, pretty plum-like tho – would they “go” with a yellow raincoat tho ? I’m thinking blue/navy .. or bright red but hey, your the expert ;o) Go check out those coats & marks outta 10 please … lol

The Joules one with the blue buttons and striped blue and white hood? I’ve seen that one and think it’s quite cute. I would probably pick the Petit Bateau one as I saw that one a while back, it looks really classic in terms of yellow raincoats!
The Damson colour is blood red, not so much plum, that might be your screen, but they are a rich, glossy, deep red!
