I’m sure you have noticed that lately I have been about mixing neutral tones with only a little pop of colour, much like this look here. You will have to excuse my fly away hair here though as it was being most unruly this day, especially with the wind. I also wanted to truly thank you all for your continued support of my personal style blog and on my Instagram as well, it’s so lovely to read your nice comments every single day, it means a lot to me!
Anyway, for my outfit, I was wearing my AG The Legging Ankle Jeans with a Raw Hem in 22 Years Spree, which I tucked into my Topshop Metal Heel Harp Booties in Nude. Keeping with the nude theme, I chose my GAP Merino Wool Sweater and layered over my Zara Beige Coat, finally finished off with my Henry Hunt Plaid Scarf and my Mulberry Mini Taylor Bag in Deer Brown.
I did first want to speak to you about these jeans as they are absolutely amazing! I’m a huge fan of the raw hem trend and while the raw hem on these isn’t as nicely done as the 7 For All Mankind jeans that I have (these are chopped rather than frayed), the fit is incredible. They are really soft, stretchy, comfortable and they have such a flattering cut, especially on the butt since it’s AG! Not only are these gorgeously made, the wash is pretty too! It’s a nicer light blue with an intensity to it and vibrancy, so it really pops as a blue, all while looking authentic. So in short, I’m really happy to have bought these! I definitely recommend them to you!

On another note though, it’s my blogs 5 year birthday coming up in the beginning of March and I’m thinking of making a video for you all. Do you have any requests on what type of video you would like? I know quite a few of you have been asking me to do more videos, so now is the time to state what you want! I’ve recently done a readers Q&A with you and last year I did a video version, so I’m thinking something different for this one since it’s 5 years! Let me know! I agree 100% about those jeans! They fit you like a glove and so perfectly! The nude heels look great with the lighter wash! Really fantastic look!
As for your 5 years of blogging! How about your first runway show? Set up your camera and pick your favorite 10 or so outfits and pretend like you are walking the runway in various locations. Make the outfit match the terrain and strut your stuff like the model we all know you could be!
Just my idea! I think it would be fancy And like your own personal fashion show!

Thank you for the comment on the outfit, but the idea is not something I would ever do. I think it would showcase me in a really bad light like I thought I was some type of hot model or something. It’s not really who I am and I don’t even do that type of thing on my own, so that’s a no to that one lol.
Idea #2: list your clothing, let readers mix and match the items, then you do one outfit a week that features your fav outfits readers came up with?

I think that kind of thing can be done more as a post and not something that requires a video, but it’s an interesting idea.

I think in “intensity” and “vibrancy” you’ve picked absolutely the right words to describe those jeans. They contain some beautiful shades of blue and suit you really well. And, once again, you’ve found a location with a nice complimentary palette of background colours to go with your outfit and create some really clever photos. 🙂
