Today, March 10th 2015, is my blogs 5th birthday! I can’t believe Raindrops of Sapphire is 5 years old already! The time really feels like it has flown by, but at the same time, it feels like there wasn’t ever a time where I didn’t have my personal style blog. Raindrops of Sapphire is like an extension of me now, it’s a huge part of my life that just fits in with everything I do, making it like my third arm. It wouldn’t be where it is today (hitting just over 2 million views and collaborating with some amazing brands) if it wasn’t for all of you though, my loyal readers and supporters.
Not a day goes by that I don’t smile and enjoy reading the lovely comments that you leave me, yes there are some hateful ones along the way, but the ones that are important are the ones of encouragement and positivity! A huge thank you is going out to all of you who read my blog, those of you who comment on every post, and those of you who read without commenting (it might be nice to finally meet some of you though!), as you all make it worthwhile! It’s nice to know that I always have your support and you are there to chat to!
In celebration of Raindrops of Sapphire turning 5, I decided to make a video for you all. This one is a little different as I take you on a tour of one of my favourite places, the Botanical Gardens, and you also get to see a few panning shots of my outfit (which I will be sharing with you in a post soon) and a special set of personalised thank you’s to some of you at the end, so I really hope you like it! It’s taken a long time to put it together, which is why I don’t often do many videos in my posts and like to keep them for special occasions! You can watch it just below. Let me know what you think as I always cringe watching myself back and hearing my childlike voice, ha ha!

That’s a wonderful achievement and hope you feel justly proud as you enter your sixth year. 🙂 This is such a friendly and welcoming blog because you put so much of yourself into it and I think it’s especially great that you take the time out to reply to everyone.
