AG Legging Jeans with a burgundy gilet and my Hunter wellies
It’s been pretty rainy here lately in England, a lot more than usual, but I suppose that’s normal since it’s coming up to the April showers season! It’s supposed to rain for the whole weekend too which might make the outfit shoots I had planned a bit difficult, so fingers crossed for me that it’s ok! I attended Bristol Fashion Week on Wednesday and had a great time! It was hosted by Lucy Watson (Made in Chelsea) and ITV stylist, Mark Heyes, plus I got to see my fashion blogger friends again! I will be doing a post on this next week though, so stay tuned for that one!
Getting to my outfit, as the rain showers have been off and on, it was easier to shoot these photos quickly as it had stopped for a while. I chose to wear my trusty Hunter Original Tall Navy Gloss Wellies (buy these wellies online here) which I tucked my AG The Legging Skinny Jeans into (buy similar jeans here) and paired with a GAP Long Sleeve Grey Tee and my Topshop Burgundy Padded Gilet, finally finished with my Urban Outfitters Gloves. I absolutely adore wellies as you know, I have quite a collection now, so I love it when it rains and I’m able to wear them and go splashing in the puddles if I want to! That’s one of the benefits of being a country blogger, nobody looks at you strangely when you are in wellies! Anyway, let me know what you think of my outfit! I would love to know!

Absolutely! My red hunters will be getting a lot of wear this summer, i bought a red UK ralph lauren polo shirt that absolutely demands to be worn with british hunters!

It’s so good to see you wearing your Wellies they look good with skinny Jeans, i usually wear my Wellies with a Skirt and Tights, I’ve just bought a pair of glossy black Huntress Wellies and can’t wait to wear them with Denim Shorts when I go into town with the Girls tomorrow (Saturday) ..

It’s a great look with a real country feel to it. 🙂 I love the colour combination of blue and burgundy.
I just about grew up in wellies what with living on a dairy farm. They were essential wear from a very young age for going out to feed the animals or play in the fields. Even for walking to school sometimes… then I took some to university… then I was working in wellies for a few years… Not so much need for them now that I live in a city though. 😉 LOL

I’ve just remembered where else I used to wear wellies as a kid – on the beach! I had an aversion to getting dry sand on my feet. So I’d be on the beach in swimming trunks and wellies. :O A very serious fashion crime, I assume? 😀
