Louis Vuitton Alma BB Epi Leather Bag in Fuchsia Review
I’m super, super excited to share with you my band new Louis Vuitton Alma BB Bag in Fuchsia Epi Leather! I have been saving up for this bag for quite some time now after falling in love with it online months ago. I wasn’t sure I could do it, spend so much money on the bag, however when I went into the Louis Vuitton boutique on New Bond Street in London last weekend just to take a look at it, my boyfriend said my eyes lit up as soon as the sales assistant took it out of the dust bag. I’m sure they did as I was completely mesmerised by the colour! In person it’s this deep and rich shade of pink/red/purple which is just so delicious you could eat it! After trying it on, I did not want to take it off.
I was initially worried that the bag would be too heavy for me, like most designer bags are, but this one is really light. I picked it up with a little force behind my lift and was shocked that it actually lifted so easily. For me, that’s incredibly important as you know I can’t carry heavy bags, so it’s the perfect weight! Everything about this bag is literally stunning. The grain of the leather from the epi print is gorgeous and I like how subtle the branding is, only having faint LV logos in various places. I like that I can carry it with a cross body strap or with the top handles and the interior is so soft, it feels like velvet or soft suede!
In terms of dimensions, the bag is 9.8 inches long, 7.4 inches high and 4.3 inches wide, so you can tell that it’s the perfect size for keeping all of your essentials! The bag is, indeed, very pretty – especially the colouring. I’ll tell you what else I really liked in the video though – those multi-coloured cushions in the background. 🙂

I’ve not even heard of Cargo Homeware before so it’s doubtful that there’s one anywhere near to Lincoln. Pity about that if they have such nice stuff as that.

I absolutely love your bag! My sweet hubby just recently purchased an Alma BB epi leather in black for me. I have been trying to figure out if it’s the norm to keep the lock on it when I carry it or carry without it? Regardless this handbag is amazing and fits so much to be so compact. I already have my eye on another one… I love that fushia color! Anyway thank you for posting such a wonderful detailed review on this bag.. I saw this review before I came to my final conclusion on choosing this particular LV style.

Thank you so much! Glad you liked it! It’s an amazing bag isn’t it? The lock in my opinion is personal preference. I carry mine with the lock still attached to it as I love the detail that it gives the bag, I think it’s unique. I’ve seen others carry it around without the lock though, so it’s entirely up to you which you prefer. There’s no right or wrong way to carry it. The black one is definitely a classic, great choice!

Hi, no I don’t use it everyday, I’ve probably worn it 5 times and the zipper is quite stiff and sturdy yeah, I think it’s the design of the bag. It’s gorgeous isn’t it?

I just bought a alma bb fushsia same as yours! As your image really impressed me lol.
But I just found the interior is not that flat when I got home, feel so sad about that as I went to another city to buy it.. And BTW, can I ask where your alma made? Mine is in italy and as there are only two there in store(one display)…I am considering whether I should go to london to exchange it lol

Hi, did you not look inside the bag when you got it in the store? I’m not 100% sure what you mean by not that flat? Does yours have lumps? I am pretty sure mine is made in Italy too, I think all of these ones are. Sorry I don’t understand what you meant, maybe you can explain a bit more.
