Paige Denim Sierra overalls with a white shirt and Balenciaga Mini City bag
As you know, I attended the UK Blog Awards back in April in London at the Motcalm Hotel as I was a finalist in the fashion category, but as it was quite dark in the venue and really busy, we weren’t able to take many photos and the ones we did take didn’t come out in high quality due to poor lighting. I haven’t been able to get access to the professional ones taken of me on the night either. With that in mind, I have been waiting to show you what I wore to the event so I re-created the outfit this weekend!
Paige Denim sponsored me to go, giving me these gorgeous Sierra denim overalls and paying for travel and accommodation while in London for both Adam and me, which was incredibly kind and thoughtful. I do love the brand with all my heart and Paige and I have supported each other since the beginning, which makes things even better. I got to meet one of my online blogger friends, Catherine from Not Dressed As Lamb as well as meet with someone else and we are in talks about a really cool project which will happen soon!
Getting to my outfit, I wore the overalls with an ASOS white blouse, my Balenciaga Mini City Baby Diam bag in Black Suede and my Topshop Gabbi heels. It was a formal/black tie event and mostly everyone was in suits and dresses, but being a denim blogger, I felt compelled to wear denim and dress it up in a smart and sophisticated way. Dungarees or overalls are always considered to be casual and easy going, so I like to take that element away from them and style them differently. You will definitely be seeing me in these more!
Getting to the location now, I love flowers and Spring time, it’s one of my favourite seasons (besides Autumn) so we looked around for some flowers to include in the backdrop. We spotted some gorgeous pink ones trailing all along the front gates and fence of a house in the city and they just looked too pretty not to use against the black and white of my outfit. We then headed over to the park to shoot the rest of them amongst the green foliage, so there was a little more colour involved in the photos. I think these might even be some of my favourites that I’ve taken on my fashion blog! I would love to know what you thought of the outfit! Please do comment and vote below!

Absolutely ideal choice of backdrop for the outfit. I have to agree with you that these are some of the best photos that you’ve posted (at least in the short time I’ve been reading anyhow). 🙂 It’s a nice simple colour palette that really works powerfully well.
