Get My Festive Party Dress Look With Forever Unique
It’s that time of the year where we have Christmas/festive parties to attend and we need to impress our colleagues, friends or bosses. What does that better than the dress you decide to wear? I’ve teamed up with Forever Unique to bring you a get the look post, dedicated to the holiday season right now. There’s 4 dresses of my own here that I have worn in the last year or so and absolutely adore, so I’ve found 4 dresses that are extremely similar which you can get from Forever Unique and have a similar look to mine. 2 of these dresses are perfect for the sophisticated, classy, statement making balls or dinners, while the other 2 dresses are the ones you would choose when you want to look sexy, classy and styled, but still casual enough to not look like you overdressed. Forever Unique also have 20% off some of their items until 13th December, so make sure you check those out and get a dress you love on deal! Let me know which dress is your favourite! I’d love to know what your type of festive dress style is!
Forever Unique SUZETTE – Black High Neck Fishtail Maxi Dress
This gorgeous black dress was the most similar one I could find to mine on Forever Unique. It’s more glam given its fishtail design and red carpet silhouette, but I think this would definitely make an impact at a ball or fancy event that you need to dress up for. A dress like this would definitely make you the center of attention no matter where you sat or walked, it’s a beautiful cut with such a stunning lace design. I think netting on dresses or gowns really elevates them to another level of glamorous. See my original black net and lace maxi dress outfit post here.
Forever Unique EDNA – Red Fishtail Maxi Dress with Jewel Embellished Neckline
If you’re looking for something red, bold and striking, then I think this maxi dress with the jewel embellishment might be the one for you. It’s similar to my deep red dress that I have but it has a more modest neckline and a stunning jeweled colour which leads all the way around to the back. This isn’t as bold as the dress above, but it will certainly turn heads if you wore it to your Christmas ball, that’s for sure. I can imagine this dress would make you feel really sexy given the embellishment details and bold red colouring. It’s sophisticated too which is definitely what you want. See my original dark red long length dress post here.
Forever Unique JAMILIA – Red Bodycon Pencil Dress
A floor length dress isn’t for everyone, some of you ladies prefer something around knee length to keep it a little more casual and sexy. I love knee length myself as well, it always makes a nice change and it stops your dress looking too much like a ball gown if you have a more low key Christmas event to go to. This red bodycon dress is the same colour as mine and fits the same all over except for a different neckline, which I think adds some interesting detail to it as a whole. You could team this one with a little wrap or a festive faux fur stole if you wanted some more modesty, but otherwise it’s a dress that holds its own. See my original red bodycon dress post here.
Forever Unique GILLIAN – Purple High Neck Lace Pencil Dress
If you wanted something dramatic and lacy, much like the first dress, but weren’t too sure on going for a full length gown as it’s not quite what you were looking for, then this Gillian dress might be the best choice. Its dark purple colour is very similar to my shorter net dress, but when it comes to design, this one has a classy high neckline to keep things mature and it’s sleeveless, so there’s not too much going on. The lace print all over is absolutely stunning and I love how it’s see through at the chest. This is definitely a dress that would make you feel amazing, confident and sexy when you wear it. Plus, when I look at it, I can’t help but feel festive and I’m reminded of holiday parties. See my original burgundy lace and mesh outfit post here.
– It’s hard to choose a favourite dress out of the 4 since they are all absolutely beautiful and perfect for different occasions, but I think if I did have to put my finger on one, it would be the last one. There’s something about this dress that just resonates with me and I’d love to wear it to any party. Which dress do you like the most and do you have any fun, festive parties to go to?

I’m still crazy about the black dress with the cactus on it! Great post Lorna, and I hope you are feeling better, I read you were feeling ill and tried to comment but was having trouble with my tablet and couldn’t. Take care!

Thank you so much, yeah I am feeling a lot better. I went to the doctor today and I’m definitely on the mend.
Lorna, I adore the deep maroon one with the little heart clutch, simple and pretty… and it truly goes without saying that I love the first black dress with the little flowers and see through bottom, it is gorgeous and sexy.. xox
I hope that you are feeling more yourself these days… have a really great week <3

Thank you so much Launna, I am feeling a lot better. So glad you like the dresses too!
Of the dresses that you’re wearing I like the 2nd and 3rd ones best and, actually, likewise for the other selections too. The red ones are the winners in this line up. 🙂
I don’t have any parties to go to. There’s no Christmas party for my workplace. The management are giving us all gift vouchers though for Christmas – which, to be honest, I much prefer as I’m not a party person by any stretch of the imagination. 🙂
As for Christmas outfits – well my nephew is rather keen for me to wear something strange again over Christmas. He still remembers the turkey onesie though he thinks it’s a chicken outfit. 😀

I’m not a party person either as I’m sure you probably know, so I would be much happier not having a Christmas work party if I had a work place, ha ha 🙂
Well as you’re self employed you could organise a work party for yourself and then opt to not attend it. 😉 lol

Ha ha, that would be so odd 😀
Dear Lorna, I am a bit MIA from commenting (and posting as well, reducing it to once a week) because 1) I do have some pain on my eyes, so I am avoiding the computer 2) December is so hectic! I loooved all of the dresses, you look really really stunning – but you know this! My favorite dress is the first one, cause I loved the transparency still being classy, and red and black together is superb!
