A Woodland Stroll In Nude

All Saints Plait Balfern Nude Jacket With Skinny Jeans

By nude, I mean my jacket and boots! I’m definitely not naked in the woods, ha ha. Adam and I shot these photos a couple of weekends ago when I got to wear my All Saints Plait Balfern Leather Jacket in Nude for the first time. I’ve not been able to wear it more than once so far as I can’t risk it being out in the rain as it will get ruined, so I’m truly hoping the weather warms up nicely and stops raining for me to wear it more. It goes with so many things, but I decided to style it with a simple tank top, my Citizens of Humanity Rocket Jeans with my DIY Raw Hem and then a pair of Topshop Nude Ankle Boots.

For my accessories, I chose my Mulberry Mini Taylor in Sycamore to add some colour and then wanted a dainty piece of jewellery so I opted for my Links of London Ring Charm Necklace that Adam got me for Valentine’s Day a couple of months ago. I am definitely preferring elegant and small jewellery now, even though I don’t own very much of it at all. But I feel like big statement necklaces and chunky bracelets are too over powering to my outfits currently, but we will have to see how that changes in the Summer when I’m wearing a lot less clothing layers.

I am realising now that I am a lot blonder, I’m suiting more lighter shades of pastels and beige which was something that I felt washed me out before. I’m loving baby pink for my lips now too and am finding that I don’t need such intense colour anymore. It’s definitely crazy when you have such a hairstyle change as some items of clothing I had before don’t suit my hair anymore and make it look yellow, which is not good. I’m loving being blonder though and I feel like the short hair really suits me now, I kind of can’t believe how I used to have it so long before. It’s almost like it wasn’t me. Anyway, please do let me know what you think of my outfit! I always love to hear your thoughts on it.

I have the same problem, I guess, I want to change my hairstyle, but then I think I will regret and it will change myself inside, as well… so I keep the same for years. I loooved your jacket and hope you can wear it more, without rain 🙂 The boots and bags are also lovely and you look very beautiful! Elegant and not washed out – always sophisticated and chic!

Thank you so much, Denise 🙂 You should change your hair if you want to. I was scared for years too, but don’t regret it!

Firstly I have to congratulate you on coming up with your best entry title ever! 😀 That’s a real attention grabber of a line. LOL

The DIY’d jeans look fabulous again and, as I’m being more jewellery attentive today, I’m noticing how cleverly and beautifully you’ve matched your earrings to them. I like that tiny little extra bit of blue to go with that gorgeous denim. 🙂 Of course your jacket looks great and I hope the weather behaves for you enough that you can wear it more. It really ought to be doing but it seems to have gone a bit crazy the past few days. April is always a bit strange though. May will make more sense. 😉

The nude leather jacket is lovely on you! I’d be a bit nervous about wearing something so light coloured too, but hopefully you are able to get a lot more wear out of it as it’s really nice and perfect with jeans! 🙂

I think you’re probably right: Big Jewels and such would overwhelm this outfit. (Summer, we shall see.) Favorite bit: that yellow bag nicely offsets the neutral jacket and boots without disturbing the ensemble.

This look is so sophisticated, and you look lovely as always Lorna! I really love the jacket with denim, and the dainty jewellery. Jewellery is such an important addition to any outfit, and can make even a simple ensemble look much more elegant. The new hair really suits you too and looks very grown up!
