REISS Sophie Suede Jacket With AGOLDE Sophie Jeans
While I was getting this post ready to type out and find the different products to link you to, I realised that both of the main pieces in my outfit today are called Sophie! I don’t think I’ve ever worn a look with two pieces from different brands that have the same name, so that’s a funny coincidence! I really do like this outfit though and I’ve been waiting to share it with you for a couple of weeks now.
I was wearing this REISS Sophie Suede Jacket which I bought from the brand about 5 weeks ago. I took it in a size UK 8 and it fits extremely well. Obviously given my small shoulders and larger chest ratio, I can never do up my leather style jackets because I have to get them to fit in the shoulders first and foremost for a tailored fit, so I’m just putting that out there that it’s not because my jackets are too small like some of you have commented before. I tried the size 10 and it was too big, it looked sloppy and hung off my shoulders, so for me it’s all about the structured fit and since I never like to do them up anyway, it’s fine.
This REISS Sophie Suede Jacket is a beautiful taupe brown shade, with the most softest of suede’s that I’ve ever come across. It’s so light and malleable, it definitely feels like it’s worth the price. Not to mention it’s actually one of my most comfiest suede jackets that I own and I was fine wearing this all day. The sleeve length and the overall length of the jacket is just right for me, plus I love the collarless look that it has with just the lapels, it’s very chic! The hardware is minimal and silver, so it doesn’t detract from the casual feeling. It’s incredible as far as suede jackets go and I think REISS are giving Allsaints a run for their money in the jacket department for me! I love this one!
For my outfit, I paired it with my AGOLDE Sophie Crop Skinny Jeans in Adore, which I got from the brand a few weeks back and actually do ‘adore’ them. The wash is a gorgeous mid blue with whiskering and details that just stand out, not to mention they have an extremely flattering fit. I reviewed them on The Jeans Blog recently if you want to go and check that out, I think you will love them too if you’re usually a fan of the denim that I wear. They’re very similar to Citizens of Humanity Rocket jeans and that’s because AGOLDE is a part of the COH brand. I found that the wash really complements the brown tones of my outfit though, don’t you think?
For the rest of it, I chose to wear a simple ASOS Cami Top in White, my Celtic & Co. Chelsea Boots, my Celine Nano Luggage in Dune, my Daniel Wellington Classic Petite Watch and finally, my Lorna name necklace from Soufeel, which you already saw in my Coral Skirt Suit outfit last week! You could probably say that I have a tendency to lean towards leather jackets and skinny jeans when it comes to my outfits and that would most definitely be true, so if you are very similar to me with the jackets and jeans love, I 100% recommend both of these to you and I can guarantee you will be seeing a lot more of them too! I hope you all have a great weekend ahead, do you have anything fun planned? And of course, please let me know what you think of the REISS Sophie Suede Jacket and the AGOLDE Sophie Jeans paired together!

Gorgeous!! This outfit is absolute perfect! I just adore bag. And I completely understand with what you said about leather jackets. My shoulder to bust ratio doesn’t work out so well either, and if I want the jacket to look decent…I won’t be able to zip it. It doesn’t really bother me, though, either. The jacket you’ve featured here is beautiful!! Hope you have a great weekend!

Thank you so much, Lindsey! So happy you like it all! And it’s nice to see someone else who wears their jackets fitted in the shoulders too to get a better look, it’s much better than a baggy jacket you can do up. I find the structure and silhouette is nicer when it’s undone anyway!
I adore ass well! ☺️

Lol, thanks David 🙂
The jeans do have a beautiful wash to them! They compliment the jacket very well, especially with the belt!

Thank you so much, Tommy! They really are pretty! I just got a new pair of vintage Levi’s today and the wash on those is AMAZING!
Oh, you did?!?! That’s so cool! I can’t wait to see those! That’s funny, I was Levi’s shopping today. I didn’t end up buying a pair yet, but soon I will. I’m still working on breaking in some raw shrink-to-fit 501s.
Author
Hopefully I will share them soon! They are 501’s and a little loose, but the wash was just so stunning! The lap whiskering and the backs of the knees were amazing, then there’s rips too! I got them from the men’s department. How are the raw ones coming along?
I look forward to seeing them sometime! They sound AMAZING! I love those types of details on vintage Levi’s. There’s something about great whiskering that is gorgeous. Are they a darker wash? The raw ones are coming along nicely. They’ve gotten to where they fit well and they’re starting to get some good creasing to them.
Author
They are a mid blue, mid to light I would say, but not super light like most of the vintage ones you see. It would be great to see some photos of your raw pair too! They sound great!
Cool! For sure, I will post some pics of mine as well! 🙂

Sounds good 😀 Maybe share them in The Jeans Blog Forum!
Ah yes! I will do that!

I never do up my leather jackets as well, so I agree, the fit around the shoulders should be essential.

That suede jacket is beautiful, and I love your necklace 🙂

That’s a beautiful jacket! I’m with you on the fit too – I have a leather jacket I can zip up but it looks a lot more oversized and isn’t as fitted in the shoulders and I don’t wear it as much as the one I can’t zip that’s perfect in the shoulders 🙂
The textured jacket and ankle boots really add to this outfit and make it special I think 🙂
Hope you have had a wonderful weekend 🙂

Those jeans are absolutely gorgeous and also absolutely ideal for you. Excellent colour and perfect fit. 😀 That type of blue works so beautifully with the beige, I think. The jacket is really pretty too and, of course, I like the lovely flat shoes very much too. 🙂
The Lorna necklace is such a great finishing touch to this outfit. It’s such a classically you outfit that it seems so fitting to include your name in it.
One of my favourite looks of the year so far. 🙂

Oh thank you, Steven! That’s true, it is a very ‘me’ outfit and I hadn’t thought about stamping my name on it, ha ha 😀 Really happy you like it all! I’m surprised it’s one of your favourites this year though, that’s great to hear since it was so casual!
love your color combos so much, from nude to burgundy, you always manage to create beautiful and so stylish outfits…great sense of style, Lorna,….

This jacket is ultra-stylish Lorna. It looks so elegant on you, but soft and comfortable as well. You look stunning! I really like the way you styled the jacket, with the elegant accessories and blue denim. It’s a very sophisticated look and a lovely variation on your signature style.
