8 Ways To Style An Allsaints Leather Jacket

(Leather Jacket featured above is the ALLSAINTS Papin)

If you’re a regular reader of my fashion blog, you’ll know that it’s no secret how much I love leather jackets, and the majority of my collection is from ALLSAINTS. My very first one I purchased was the Papin (read a review here) and since then, I ended up getting suede, as well as different colours. I think I might have around 8 ALLSAINTS leather jackets now, so I thought it would be good to show you 8 ways to style an ALLSAINTS leather jacket and how you can replicate the look or get some style inspiration. I haven’t featured all of my jackets here, and there’s 2 that are not actually ALLSAINTS themselves, but the brand has jackets that are so similar, so I thought I’d show you the styling anyway. You can shop my selection of jackets underneath each one!

ALLSAINTS currently have 20% off on their entire range for a limited time only! SHOP HERE!

With Grey Skinny Jeans & Heels

This ALLSAINTS leather jacket above is the Randall (see full outfits here and here). It’s one of my favourites as it has the collar and no belt, so it’s really easy to wear. It’s light and comfortable, but does run big so I had to size down to a UK 4 in this as it stretches too. It has tonal hardware so it’s incredibly easy to style with everything as you’re not stuck to silver or gold metal. I think one of my favourite ways to wear this leather jacket is with grey skinny jeans and some heels. You can then do what you want with the top and accessories, but the grey and black makes a great base!

With Black Skinny Jeans & Sneakers

Again, I’m wearing the Randall here and this time with distressed black skinny jeans. As it’s a black leather jacket, it goes with almost everything and I do love to style it with sneakers too. So here it’s styled with these GRLFRND skinny jeans and my Balenciaga Race Runners (see the full outfit here). It’s a perfect way to dress the jacket down and keep it all casual. I rarely ever (if at all) wear this one with blue jeans though as I don’t like how it looks against them since the hardware is black, so it’s too dark for blues. Always stick to grey and black. This particular jacket isn’t available anymore but the Cargo is timeless and just as good!

Layered Over A Dress With Over The Knee Boots

This is the classic ALLSAINTS Balfern here which they have in stock every season. It comes in numerous colours and fabrics, but this is the black original one (see the outfit here). You can style this with almost everything as it’s got silver hardware, so you can do blue, black, or grey jeans as standard, but I wanted to show you something different and layer it over a dress with thigh high boots. You can add a little bit of edge to an outfit like this with just the leather jacket alone.

With Skinny Leather Jeans/Pants

If you have one of their suede jackets, you can style it with leather pants! I have the Hitchen suede jacket (see original post here) and I thought it paired perfectly with my Rag & Bone leather pants. There’s something about the suede and leather mix that worked really well. It doesn’t need to be a suede jacket though as if you’re confident enough to wear double leather, why not style the pants with the Balfern? It’s more edgy and statement making and can look really strong.

Layered Over Double Denim

Of course there had to be double denim in here, didn’t there? This is the ALLSAINTS Balfern in Sahara (see my review here and the outfit here or here). The brown shade is absolutely amazing and works with so many different blues and black. Since brown and blue is a staple, laying it over some mid blue skinny jeans with a light blue denim shirt can work so well. The rest is up to you, but a brown jacket and blue denim is often a winning combination!

Over An Evening Dress With Heels

This is also another Balfern, but in a grey suede. Since it looks smarter and more classy with the light grey hue and the silver hardware, I styled it with an evening dress just to give it a little more of a casual vibe so it brought the dress down a notch (see here). If dresses like this aren’t your thing though, a grey suede jacket can look amazing with any blue, grey or black jeans (see this outfit). It’s actually one of the most versatile there is – possibly even more than black!

Shearling Style Neutral With Skinny Jeans & Boots

Now this isn’t ALLSAINTS as you just saw this jacket, it’s by Zara (see the outfit here). ALLSAINTS have a really similar shearling version though that I fell in love with, but it cost too much money for me at the moment, so I opted for the faux version like this. As it’s Autumn now, we need as much warmth as we can get and coats like this are ideal. Pairing it with some neutral skinny jeans and layering up with roll necks underneath works well, then just finish it off with some heeled boots and you have the perfect layered aviator style look.

Fur Collar With All Black

Again, this jacket is actually by Goosecraft (see the outfit here), but I was inspired to buy it because it was a lot cheaper and fitted better than the ALLSAINTS one I originally loved. The faux fur collar just adds an extra element of chic to the jacket and I decided to wear it with all black so it stood out more. I think jackets like this with the furry collars often look smarter than the casual biker jackets so dressing these ones up is the way to go. I’ve not tried mine with blue jeans and anything casual as I didn’t think it suited, but heeled boots or heels in general work really well. Keep it classy.

A Coat With Skinny Jeans & Heels

I know this isn’t a leather jacket, but I’ve covered the 8 leather jacket options and am including 2 ALLSAINTS coats here as well! This is the Leni in Taupe (see here) and the Ori in grey (see here). Both of these are still available even though I purchased my Ori 2 years ago and my Leni 1 year ago – that’s how classic they are. With coats like this you can style them in many ways, but I like to keep things easy with grey or blue skinny jeans and some heels or heeled boots. It’s a great way to dress them up. Knitwear underneath helps to make it suitable for day time so there’s endless ways to style!

I hope you enjoyed my 8 ways to style an ALLSAINTS leather jacket! Now the best bit? ALLSAINTS have 20% off currently on all their items for a limited time! So don’t miss out! SHOP HERE!

These are all terrific looks which suit you really well. 🙂 If I had to choose a favourite of these looks (and I know you’ve not asked us to but it’s how my mind works…) then I’d struggle to pick between the two I like best: “LAYERED OVER A DRESS WITH OVER THE KNEE BOOTS” and “LAYERED OVER DOUBLE DENIM”. 🙂

Funnily enough, a lot of people like the double denim the most, which was interesting to me as I threw that together at the time! The velvet dress and boots one though is one I love very much!

Lorna it’s great to see your coat collection showcased in this way, with endless styling options. All the looks are very edgy and fashion-forward, and I love the different combinations. I like the way you’ve included tougher options, as well as more feminine and elegant looks.

I think it’s fantastic that you recently got the shearling style faux leather coat as an alternative to genuine leather. Do you think you’ll be getting more faux leather pieces in the future?

    Lots of love Saba xx

I actually own quite a few, I used to buy faux in the beginning and the faux shearling styles like this are definitely my favourites. I like them a lot! I find it tough with leather though as the imitation leather never comes close to looking really good and genuine, and it always smells weird, but if there are pieces that look good, I definitely would!

Wow, so many fabulous ways how to wear leather jacket! Love it! An all black look with knee ripped jeans and cool high-sole shoes is pretty interesting, I also like the velvet dress teamed with black leather jacket and OTK boots.
