Boda Skins Kay Michaels Women’s Leather Jacket With Skinny Jeans
I recently shared with you my Boda Skins Kay Michaels Women’s Leather Jacket review and you all loved it! So many of you commented how much you adored the jacket and even some of you purchased one (as you told me), so I’m really excited to show you my first outfit combination featuring it. I wore it out a couple of weekends ago and it was actually freezing, so don’t be fooled by the photos, but I thought it would look good against Great Pulteney Street in Bath as the backdrop. It’s really fancy up the top of town and there’s some great steps to sit on.
For my outfit, I decided to style my Boda Skins Kay Michaels in Antique Creased Brown with my AG The Farrah Ankle Jeans in 18 Years Cruising, a simple GAP Long Sleeve T-Shirt and my REISS Ankle Boots. The boots actually ended up being almost the perfect shade to match the brown leather jacket. I definitely plan on wearing it again with black skinny jeans, but for the first look I wanted to wear light blue, to really make the jacket the focal point of the outfit.
My tips on how to wear a Boda Skins Kay Michaels would definitely be based on your personality and the season. I think one of the most winning combinations for women is with skinny jeans and heels/boots as it’s feminine mixed with tough, but it’s definitely going to work with trainers as well for a more casual approach. Skinny jeans are definitely what I see the majority of the time with leather biker jackets so you can’t go wrong with that look! For the summer though, worn over a dress is going to look so chic! I’m playing with ideas for that myself!
I’m definitely so happy with my Boda now that I can’t believe I waited so many years to get my first one! I love it that much that I am definitely wanting to get the black version as soon as possible. I can only imagine the combinations I can put together with that one as well! What would you love to see me style this Antique Creased Brown leather jacket with? I’m definitely open to your suggestions! But as always, please do let me know what you think of this outfit in the comments!
What I Was Wearing:
Leather Jacket – BODA SKINS
Top – GAP
Jeans – AG Jeans
Boots – REISS

Thank you! Did you mean jacket or jeans? I didn’t have a skirt on in this outfit.
I love this Boda skin jacket, Lorna! And the location is also amazing! I loved your boots and the whole combination – the skinny jeans are very beautiful, too, and the outfit is a perfect way of how to wear this great jacket. I think you look fabulous! Hope you have an excellent week! Hugs!

Ho, God, please bless this perfect creature named Lorna ! But where is the photo from behind ?

Thanks!
However, brown is not really my color, i prefer black for leather. On you, i think a red jacket and those jeans will be awesome and very sexy together, check your post of january 2017 with a burgundy jacket…
Bye Lorna !
Very nice indeed. 🙂 The jacket really is the perfect fit for you isn’t it?
I think your choice of jeans to wear with the jacket is an excellent one – they’re fabulous. I’m not sure that I 100% agree with you that these jeans make the jacket the focal point though. I think, at least to my eyes, there’s pretty much an equality of strength and focus between the two items – I say this in a positive context though as I think that’s a good thing. As ever, of course, different eyes perceive different things. 🙂 It might just be that this particular location with its stone colours gives extra emphasis to the blue denim? I’ll be interested too to see how the jacket works with the black jeans that you mentioned.
The photography is especially outstanding in this post, Lorna. These are probably my favourite batch of your photographs so far for 2018. 🙂

Thanks, Steven! 😀 Yes, definitely has the perfect fit I would say. It’s nice and snug, but not too tight. I love it!
That’s funny you think the jeans and jacket are equal, as to me the jacket definitely stands out most, but like you said, we all see things differently so that is most likely why! I’m pleased these are your favourite of the year so far! Yay! I thought the stone steps would be a great location for it!
Ouch!

Is that bad or good?
Excellent, as I mentioned in the Jan. 30th post…

Ah yes!
As usual, this is an awesome post Lorna! It’s great to see a brown leather jacket, especially one like that with so much great detail to it! I love black leather jackets, but it’s so good to see brown as well to mix it up, and you picked the perfect jacket in my humble opinion. Also, the jeans are a gorgeous wash! I love that they’re a bright pair of jeans, but they don’t distract from the jacket. It’s a great complete outfit. Well done my friend! 🙂

Thank you so much 🙂 I’m really glad you like the look! I agree, a brown leather jacket is a lot different to the norm and I love it!
For sure! It’s always good to switch things up now and then!

That really is a lovely shade for a moto jacket. Not too dark but not tan. I love it. And works so well with skinny jeans and a tee. Great look.

I love this jacket too – I just wondered in the black whether you would still go up a size… I am torn between sizes?!?x

Hi Laura, I have the black as well now and I tried it a size up in a 10 and it was too big. It fits the same as the brown in my opinion!
Thank you.x
