Boda Skins Kay Michaels Leather Jacket Outfit
Oh how good it is to be wearing leather jackets and boots again! I will admit that I was actually sweating, however I wanted to be able to wear my Autumn clothes as soon as possible, ha ha. You’re probably going to be seeing a lot more of this type of combination as the months go by too, as I’m sure you all know by now that it’s one of my go to looks in some shape or form.
For this outfit, I chose to wear my Boda Skins Kay Michaels Leather Jacket in Black (buy it here), which you have seen before, and pair it with my FRAME Le Skinny de Jeannes, a simple River Island Tank Top, and my Ted & Muffy Empress Over The Knee Boots. If you’re a long time reader, you have probably noticed that these boots are my all time favourite over the knee boots! I’ve worn them so many times over the past few years and I genuinely cannot get enough of them. They go perfectly with everything in my wardrobe!
The Boda Skins Leather Jacket is just a classic too. I did originally try on my Allsaints Randall with this outfit, but it didn’t quite work, so I switched it for this one. Then, can I talk about these jeans? I’m having a FRAME moment right now and am obsessed! They just fit perfectly all over and are so flattering, I want more! Anyway, I’m keeping this one short and sweet for you. I hope you’re enjoying your Friday and have some great weekend plans ahead. Can’t believe September is almost over!
What I Was Wearing:
Jacket – Boda Skins
Top – River Island
Jeans – FRAME
Boots – Ted & Muffy (similar)

Thanks, John! I’ve gotten a lot of hair compliments lately, which is very nice 🙂
Such a cute casual look. Over the knee boots have been trendy for a few years now. Looks like they are coming back again. I’m a ugg lover since they work better for my everyday life.
Have a great weekend.

I’ve never worn Uggs as they’re not really my style, but I do love over the knee boots so much!
They look like awesome jeans! I have a pair in a similar wash and I used to wear them all the time – they go with so much, and they look great on you here with the leather jacket and boots.
It’s good you could get out some cold weather pieces, even if you were a little warm. I’m impressed you could take photos, if I tried to layer up in less than perfect weather for it I’d look like a sweaty messy, haha!
Hope your weekend is off to a great start! 🙂

Wow, Lorna. That outfit looks absolutely wonderful. Yes, it is time for leather jackets and boots again.
Perfect combo, love the boots and jeans combo too, although with the weather over here you are better off with wellies haha. Enjoy your weekend.

As much as I enjoy wellies for the rain, I can never get enough of my boots!
OMG!!!
It’s great to see you in top form again…
I’m glad to read you’ll be dressing up in this style more often but I’m even happier to see you’re not shy to post rear shots of yourself. It’s an outstanding combination, those musketeers and jacket sandwiching those beautiful jeans, embracing your sexy and sweaty curves.
Thankyou, Lorna!

Was that really supposed to say sweaty, or was that a typo? Because that’s kind of gross if it was intentional lol.
Well you did write “I will admit that I was actually sweating”…
All I was trying to express is that you look fantastic and sexy and that those jeans fit you like a glove.
Sorry if you felt my comment was innappropriate! 🙁

Ohhh, ha ha, yeah I meant in my armpits lol.
This jacket looks so cool! I think I should invest in one. Right at the moment, I don´t have a leather jacket, because I haven´t found one that suits me well :-*

I do love that look: it’s purely casual, yet it’s buttoned-down like something far more serious.

Thank you! I’m glad you got that concept from it!
I’m loving the strong, powerful vibes of this outfit! The over the knee boots look amazing with those jeans and the leather jacket. I hope you have a great week ahead!

This is a terrific combination, Lorna. 🙂 I can see why you like these jeans so much – they are gorgeous. I think it is a very clever move to wear them with the black jacket and black boots. I think that often people hesitate to put light blue denim with black (myself included) for fear that the black will overpower the light blue. You’re showing that it’s more than possible to make the combination work well – those jeans are certainly eye-catching enough in their own right to maintain balance in the outfit. Great stuff.

Yes! I used to be scared of it too, but I saw a similar look on Kate Moss a few years back and she nailed it, so I’ve never been afraid since 😀
I really like this look 🙂

Hi Lorna! I am not new to your blog. I have been reading your posts and I just want to tell you that you inspire me! Just like you, I am also kinda shy. But you broke me out of my comfort zone! I started my own blog and I literally copy your website style (hope you don’t mind) 🙂 I wanna do what you do. Oh I just adore you 🙂 🙂 And as usual, great outfit!

I looove autumnal weather and I can totally relate to bringing out those layers earlier than I really should considering that the seasons haven’t quite caught up yet! I love how you combined an edgy leather jacket and elegant over-the-knee boots! Both are such classic pieces 🙂 -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey’s

I had a really good laugh when you admitted to sweating because lately I am sweating in all of my “fall” looks. We are still experiencing summer weather where I live, but I really love those boots! I have been wanting to buy myself a pair, so I really appreciate you sharing!! Have a lovely day . <3

I find it too much to have all leather, so I thought suede broke it up nicely!
