A Second Outfit In Cardiff, Wales
Happy Wednesday everyone! These are my second lot of photos taken in Cardiff, Wales, almost two weeks ago (see my first set here). We were looking around for different places to shoot the photos and there’s a couple that I took outside a church in the city centre, one that we took inside an arcade, but the lighting was too dark, and then on the way to Barry to get my tattoo, we found a beautiful park, so we decided to shoot the photos there instead. This little pathway with the trees either side of it was so beautiful, I liked how it framed everything. I can only imagine how nice Summer outfits would look here, so I might have to keep this location in mind for the future!
For my outfit, I wanted something comfortable and casual as I was out all day in Wales, but also because I was getting my tattoo and wanted to be non restricted and without pain from tight clothes or shoes, so this is what I went with. As I’ve said before, this type of look has become somewhat of a uniform for me. I was wearing my new Zara Summer Coat, which would you believe only cost £29.99 as it’s lightweight? I layered it over my Mango Knitted Tank Top and wore my L’AGENCE Margot Graphite Skinny Jeans again, with my Louis Vuitton Belt wrapped around to tie it together. I went with my Fila Disruptor II in Feather Grey, and then threw on my Michael Kors Selma Bag, which I often use for traveling as it’s a great bag for that. I then finally finished it off with my Aura by Calum Fluorite Necklace, as I wanted to try and keep my anxiety under control for the day. So as you can see, I’ve favoured the neutral, beige type of tones again, and went for the brown accessories as I really love this kind of combination. Anyway, let me know what you think of the outfit! Lorna xx.

Hi Lorna
I’ve always given beige type colours a swerve as they can be so dull, but you’ve smashed it with your combination. It’s such a cool, laid back and classy look you’ve got there I swear you look great in everything. Thanks for sharing your pictures as always.

Thank you, James! They can be dull for sure, but I think it depends entirely on how you style it and what sort of pieces/textures you use, as well as how you liven it up with other shades. It’s the perfect neutral in my opinion!
Love this look!! The belt and bag go so well, and the sneakers are so cute!

This is a comfortable and chic look. You look way more chicer than I did when I got my tattoos, lol.

Thank you, Kathrine!
This is such a cute outfit! I’m currently in the market for a luxury belt and am debating between the one you are wearing and gucci. Do you have any recommendations? I kind of prefer simpler pieces, but I just don’t know which would be better and want to get this right since it is a pricey investment.

I own both of them, I own the Gucci GG in tan and in black, and obviously this LV one. It truly depends what type of style you’re looking for. With this LV one, you get two belts for the price of one as it’s reversible, so you have black on one size and brown monogram on this side, and the LV buckle is more subtle than the GG logo. I would probably say go with the LV if you like understated pieces, plus the Gucci is kind of overdone now, it’s not as popular as it was! I hope that helps!
This is a great neutral styling. I really like that Zara light coat, it looks so light, perfect for this season. Great trainers too and LV belt is a nice touch. You look very pretty!

Ah a wonderful look for in-between weather. And love how you mixed high low pieces. And the Louis Vuitton belt is a very nice alternative to the ever popular Gucci belt.

Oh how funny would that have been! Glad you like it!
Wow! I’m astonished by the price of your coat! That really is exceptional value for such a beautiful and, I think, unusual item. 🙂 As well as being looking good in its own right I think the coat works as a great frame for the jeans which are, again, very much the star garment of the outfit. 🙂
Love the photos in front of the church. The windows are complementing your jeans too. 😀

Thank you, Steven 😀 I agree, it’s a seriously good price for the coat! I was shocked with it too!
