A Western Rock Inspired Outfit
Happy Monday! First of all, I wanted to say thank you to you for the love and support on my last collaboration with Lily Arkwright as I was really proud of that one, and to know you guys loved it too, that means a lot! This weekend has been quite interesting with some shoots that Adam and I got done, for both of us, which I am excited to share with you soon! I just can’t wait for the leaves to turn orange and the parks to be in full glow, it’s going to be the perfect backdrop for photos!
Speaking of that, we headed to Bristol to shoot these photos a couple of weeks ago when it was a bit warmer than it currently is now. We took them down by the River Avon which is just outside the Temple Meads train station as they had some beautiful red brick and scenery. It’s a totally different atmosphere to doing photos here in Bath as the location is such a contrast to the yellow Bath stone. We definitely plan to do more shoots in Bristol going forward actually!
Anyway, for my outfit here, I was wearing a Cupcakes & Cashmere floral printed cami top, which I love as it’s such a dark design – perfect for Autumn, and I paired it with my L’AGENCE Margot Skinny Jeans in Graphite again. I know, I pretty much do live in these jeans, but I did just get a new pair in grey! I wrapped my B-Low The Belt belt around the middle to give it a little edge, and then finished it off with my Topshop Mercy Boots (which are currently in the sale!), my Brixton Brown Fedora, my Saint Laurent New Wave Sunglasses and some jewellery.
I’m really gravitating towards a darker colour palette at the moment, and the Western inspired rock pieces like this, mostly because I can’t stop listening to country music again. I go through my phases of being obsessed with it, ha ha. These boots though… Aren’t they amazing? I know I spoke about them in my wish list last month, but I love them so much. They’re beyond cool and they’re so comfortable, you’re definitely going to be seeing them a lot more as they’re my new go to’s! Anyway, let me know what you think of this outfit! Lorna xx.

I absolutely love that cami, it’s perfect for fall with the mix of fall colors against the black. So pretty. It looks great paired with the black denim and those fab boots, too. Great styling, babe.

Thanks so much, Mica!
Gorgeous outfit! As much as I miss summer, I do love fall fashion and experimenting with darker colours. I think hats really help to complete a look, and the one you’re wearing works perfectly 🙂

Wow, Lorna what a cool look. It looks amazing on you and I love how you combined the jeans with those cute black sexy boots. Amazing job. I was wondering if you could help me out with some fashion questions if I send you an e-mail?

I’m going to check now!
I’m a fellow fan of country music (though a bit out of touch with what is current) so I love this look. 🙂 The first shot looks like it ought to be an album cover. I mean there’s even just the right amount of space above your head for your name and the title of the album if it were for real! 😀 The 2nd and 3rd photos are stunning too – I think this whole look and vibe really suits you. 🙂

Thank you so much! That’s possibly one of the best compliments I have gotten before as I would love to release my own album, ha ha! I am obsessed with country music, so much! So happy you love it! You might be excited for my Halloween costume this year! 😀
Can you sing? I don’t think I even know. 🙂
Oh yes, I’ll be looking out for your costume for sure. 🙂

I can, ha ha. I sing quite often, but I’m really shy for singing in front of an audience!
I love this outfit! I’m not a fan of country music (rock and metal is what I like), but I can see how you are inspired by it. Thanks for sharing this post.
