I finally did a day of shooting again! It felt so good to get back to some normality after not having done any modelling for a few months now due to the lock down. It was nice to get out and actually choose outfits to wear, and plan the content. Finally, I feel like things are picking back up and giving me hope!
For this blog post, I wanted to showcase 4 different outfits for different occasions. I’ve gone for a lock down look with loungewear, two casual daytime outfit with t-shirts and jeans, and then a going out look with a gorgeous red dress. It feels good dressing up again! As I’m sure you can imagine! Anyway, I will tell you more about each outfit below each photo! I hope you like them!
Daytime Casual
These two looks above are pretty much identical, but I swapped out the t shirts to show you a black and white version. This Paradise tee from Femme Luxe is pretty cool, I love how elegant it is and the font of the text just makes it feminine. I decided to pair it with my L’AGENCE Margot Skinny Jeans in Graphite (which you know I live in) and then threw on my Superga Mule Sneakers. Now these shoes I was pretty disappointed with as they gave me blisters! For my accessories though, which I think is key to pulling a t-shirt and jeans look together, I wore my Louis Vuitton LV Belt and matched it to my Louis Vuitton Mini Palm Springs Backpack! I got this bag a couple of months ago after falling in love with it last year, but it was really hard to get hold of. I then added in some gold necklaces and a watch, to match the hardware on my accessories. I would say that this might be my favourite look with the white t-shirt, as it’s something I would regularly wear on a daily basis. I will actually be doing a separate blog post with this ensemble, with plenty more photos, so stay tuned for that soon!
Going Out
Since it’s time that everyone got back to normal and had more of a night life now, I thought I would share this beautiful dress. I do love a gorgeous red bodycon style dress and this one has ruching and side seams, which I think really enhances your curves. You can dress this up with some red or nude heels to make an impact, or you could even go for some ankle boots. I personally chose my Christian Louboutin Pigalle in Black, which I think made a statement as red and black together are killer! This particular dress is from Femme Luxe, and is extremely affordable, so you don’t need to worry too much when you wear it out for the night. I took size 10 in it, and it fits pretty consistently with other pieces I have in a 10. What do you usually wear if you are heading out for the night? I did a blog post last year as well with different night time looks, which you can see here, for more inspiration.
Lounging At Home
Finally, a look that I know only too well – Loungewear. Due to staying in the house so much over the past few months, all I have been wearing is t-shirts with joggers and simple shorts and tank tops. This is a really cute set though, with matching joggers and a t-shirt, in this burnt rust shade, which is pretty unique. The ribbing on these adds to that luxurious feel so they don’t just look like scrub clothes. How cute would this set be with some fluffy slippers? You could also throw on some trainers though and head out to the store. I took a size medium in this and I would say it’s pretty true to size as I didn’t want it to be tight in any way. What kind of looks have you been wearing at home during this pandemic? I would love to know!
And of course, out of these 4 different outfits here, please do comment and tell me which you like the most! Are you a t-shirt and jeans girl, a date night dress champion, or a loungewear lover? Lorna xx.

Lorna, you always make even the most casual outfit look fantastic. Both jean combinations are awesome and the red dress “stunner!” Wow! So perfect for you. Lastly the comfy outfit on your bed is just that, nicely done! Love the red dress … won’t deny that! 🙂 Franko

Thank you! Yes, I’m actually cutting it next Thursday! I can’t wait! It’s going to be cut quite short!
You look incredible Lorna! I love the casual looks, as they’re suitable for everyday wear, but still very chic. I also adore the red dress, the ruching is very flattering and creates a lovely silhouette. The loungewear is surprisingly stylish too. I like the stripy texture and burnt orange shade. It’s definitely much nicer than a basic t-shirt and jogging bottoms, and looks luxurious too.
I’m excited to see the dedicated outfit post you’ll be sharing soon.
I’m happy that you’re feeling optimistic about blogging, life in general, and getting out and about more. Keep up the good work!
Lots of love Saba xx

Thank you so much, Saba! I’m really glad you like it! Hopefully next week is when I will be sharing the white t-shirt pics as a full post! And I’m happier that I’m more optimistic about it all too, happier that there’s more normality to life now!
It’s lovely to see your new-found positivity Lorna. I know a special day is coming up soon, and I’ve been hoping you’ll do a birthday post this year. Your previous birthday looks have always been a delight to see. I still remember the Coast cherry print dress very clearly, and the pictures of you in the cute pink shorter dress, holding a star-shaped balloon! Xx

Awh thank you, Saba! Unfortunately I wont be doing a birthday outfit this year, I don’t really have any plans other than a meal out with my family, so there’s no need to dress up and wear anything special. Covid kinda squashed all the plans I originally had! But I’m planning on writing a post up, maybe, about my birthday. It’s tradition here, even though I don’t really feel like celebrating it this year as much, since everything has changed in my life. I might include some older pics though from previous birthday posts xx.
Cute outfits! i really like the jeans and tee ones but that red dress looks fantastic on you! 🙂
Hope that you are having a nice week and have a lovely weekend ahead of you 🙂
