Happy Monday everyone! I’m back with another combination blog post, featuring different outfits that I have been wearing around the home and staying comfortable in! The times are still really uncertain right now, and I am spending most of my time indoors still. I figured, instead of just wearing loungewear that is drab and boring, I would spruce it up a little bit with some various looks that I’m sharing here! Femme Luxe are responsible for a few of these pieces, and there’s more to be seen below, too! What kind of clothes have you been wearing during 2020? I think loungewear has seen a huge spike!
The first picture that you see features a khaki army green cropped t-shirt, from Femme Luxe, and I paired it with some black skinny sweat pants. The neckline is one of the prettiest on this one as I find it really sculpting, but it also allows necklaces to stand out and look like a focal point. Comfortable and casual, perfect for lounging around at home in!
Isn’t this pink cropped t-shirt really pretty? Again, from Femme Luxe, and I think it might be a new favourite! Along with that khaki green one too, that you saw above. They fit incredibly well and are actually really flattering, especially with the little V cut out on the front. Loungewear has never looked cuter in my opinion! I paired this one with my lilac shorts that I usually use for sleepwear, and it’s a really easy, simple ensemble that requires no effort whatsoever. Plus, I’m a huge fan of the pastel shade colour palette here, and tops like this.
The slogan on this t-shirt says ‘In a world where you can be anything, be kind’ and I love that. I’ve always been a person that approaches all situations with kindness, and the world at the moment seems to be forgetting that aspect of human nature. This t-shirt can serve as a reminder that we need to care a little more. T-shirts and skinny jeans are my uniform now though, I’m always living in them! Although that’s soon going to swap to knitwear as it cools down!
Two different looks here, created with the same base of the black lounge trousers, but I wore the two different cropped t-shirts that you saw above; one in pink, and one in army green. There’s something really casual and comfortable when it comes to wearing sweat pants and tee’s. You really can’t go wrong with that kind of combination in my opinion, especially if you jazz it up with some jewellery, like the necklace that I’m wearing in these pics.
Now getting to the shoes you see here, I’m wearing Doc Martens! This is my very first time trying the English brand, and I was thinking about going for the chelsea boots, but I went with the iconic 1460 black lace up boots instead as I think they’re the most versatile. I’m currently in the breaking in phase right now, and I wasn’t sure what I thought of them at first, but it turns out that I love them now! I’m reaching for them for most outfits as I didn’t realise how universal they were! I’ve also been getting into a lot more lingerie at the moment, since I’m spending most of my time at home still. You might have noticed on my Instagram, and in these yellow shirt pics. Lazy days seem to be the normal now! Which look do you like the most? Lorna xx.

Ha ha, thank you so much!
Hi Lorna
I’m not usually a fan of crop tops, but those are fabulous on you. The shorts go really well for a cute outfit. The check shirt and Doc Martens are a great match too. I’ve always wanted a pair of patent Doc Martens but never got around to getting them. Purple would be my favourite choice. A friend had loads of their shoes in all sorts of fabulous finishes, she has a Union Jack pair and another in tartan and they’re gorgeous.
Since lockdown the variety of clothes I’ve worn has really reduced. I’ve not worn my business suits for months as unemployment came very quickly. I started yoga and have lessons most days to keep my mind right which is most important. Because of that I’ve almost lived in leggings and t-shirt for the last six months. They’re so comfortable and easy to wear. I’m now know as The Yoga Guy (ha! ha! Maybe I should trademark the name?) in my neighbourhood as without realising I’ve taken to wearing my yoga clothes out as daywear. It’s a world apart from a sharp suit which I love to wear in the office, but much more fun.
Take care
James xx

Hi James!
I’m sorry you got unemployed so quickly, but it’s great that you’re doing yoga and enjoying that to keep you mentally stable. That’s funny you’re wearing your leggings and t-shirts out now, as normal day wear, ha ha.
Well there’s not much difference between my skinny jeans and leggings in terms of fit. The jeans I wear are girls, usually in a uk size 6 so they are pretty much spray on. The leggings I prefer as they don’t have a zip to struggle with and they feel some much better. I don’t know why I didn’t start wearing them earlier lol

I love how comfortable leggings are too!
I have that t-shirt from femmelux as well. The crop stop I had to trash since my had a huge hole in it.

Ha ha, these are actually photos from now, where I have lost all the extra weight. So I’m actually thinner here, I lost 15/16 pound.
