It’s time for my very first Currently Craving Wish List of 2021! I can’t believe that we’re already a week into January and Christmas was 2 weeks ago! The time is flying by! For this wish list though, I have included quite a few pieces that I absolutely adore, and also items that I have purchased! So, without taking up too much time on an intro, I’m going to jump straight into the products.
First up, I wanted to include some earrings! As you know, I have my ears pieced twice in each lobe, and earrings are a passion of mine. I tend to spend ages looking for new ones that match, and then I wear them for a long while before changing it up. I always make sure that I wear real silver or gold though, as I have very delicate skin, so when I saw these gorgeous huggie earrings on the Au-Rate website, I was blown away by their beauty. I tend to love hoops, but I never go for large ones, I only like smaller, huggie style earrings, or just a little bit bigger. I’m also a huge fan of pearls, so a pair of huggie earrings with pearls hanging off? It doesn’t get much better than that!
Now we have my look book that I always create! It starts with this amazing Allsaints Balfern Suede Jacket in Tan. I recently purchased this from their website and I fell in love with it. The gold hardware and the rich, luxurious colour of the suede is stunning! I cannot wait to share this with you! I also selected their camo oversized shirt jacket, a sage green leather jacket, a black leather mini skirt, a green chest pocket blouse, and one of their black hoodies. I can never get enough of the brand!
Then I have chosen 3 pairs of Abercrombie & Fitch jeans in light blue vintage style washes, which I am loving at the moment. I also chose a blush pink shirt jacket, and some grey workout leggings and a bralette from the brand. Speaking of jeans though, there’s a pair of metallic silver Joe’s Jeans, as well as some black paperbag style jeans from Sea. I hadn’t heard of this brand before, but they look cool!
You will also find a JW Anderson small wedge bag in a coral colour, a Golden Goose star bag, and a The Marc Jacobs J Link shoulder bag. I haven’t purchased any of these, but they have a great design. I’m into SKIMS at the moment too, and plan on putting an order through, so I chose one of their waist shapers, and a pair of their briefs as I’ve heard really good things! Then finally, we have a floral bardot style top from Giuseppe di Morabito, which is ideal for Spring, and a white dress by Rocco Sand. Which of these items do you like the most?

Hi Lorna
Some interesting items on your list there and there’s a couple of real stand out items for me.
We’re as one mind with the Balfern jacket. It’s such a timeless style and I love it. I wonder whether you could wear that with them item that catches my eye the most and that’s the Rocco dress. It might be a little tricky with the sleeves but I’d love to see you trying it. It’s a real nod to the gypsy dresses worn in old cowboy movies from the 50s. The faux laces detail on the bodice are a nice touch and I think this would go great with your brown hat. I mentioned that hat before and love you in that. The boots the model is wearing look like they’re high heels and I think that works really well but so would lower cowboy boots. I think your favourite black ankle boots with your black hat would look great too. I do hope you get this dress and do a photo shoot trying these and other items you think will coordinate with it.
The waist trainer – are you thinking of wearing that as outer wear? I think it would look great over a crisp white blouse out of the shoulder top.
Now I’m a huge fan of leggings. They’re so easy to wear and can be dressed up or kept as purely exercise wear. I remember you had a shiny red lounge outfit last year which was in a ribbed material and that looked great. I’m not sure about these though. Will they last long as the material looks like it might bobble after a few wears and washes? The material also looks more like it’s cotton based fabric rather than the Lycra I usually associate with leggings and I also wonder if they might start to stretch out and go a bit baggy. It’s a bit of a hobby horse of mine that leggings look fabulous when they’re skintight, baggy ones just look well, not very flattering!!
The A&F Cozy shirt with its poppers as fasteners is great and the All Saints Bernie shirt is little more dressy perhaps but I’m liking that just as much. I like they both have nice breast pocket detail and the colours you’ve selected really appeal.
My last thought (for now!) is the black bag – that’s so fabulous!!
Thanks for your first list of 2021, any feedback on my feedback is always welcome 😊
Big hugs and love to you

Wow, Russ! You really know your stuff there! You’re correct that leggings look best when they’re skin tight! Baggy leggings are a no go! I don’t like them either, ha ha. I don’t know if I plan on buying that dress, it’s probably going to be a no given the price tag and the limited ability to wear it. But it’s great and I love the styling suggestions! The waist trainer is for underneath, however I think a look like that over shirts does look great, like a wide belt kind of style! 😀
Those earrings are so cute, especially the pearl ones, and I really like that suede jacket! 🙂
Hope that you are having a great weekend! It will be a quiet one here, we are all in a 3 day lockdown due to a case of the virus being found outside of hotel quarantine for the first time in 113 days.

Thank you, Mica! I’m so glad you like them 🙂 Oh wow! I didn’t know Australia was doing so well in terms of the virus, and just one case makes a quarantine! Compared to the dire situation here, that’s crazy!
Hope you get a few things off of your list.

Thank you, Amy!
I love that tan leather jacket by AllSaints! So so rich and gorgeous. I also want that Golden Goose camera bag. I am in the market for this style and saw several designs on the Nordstrom website. Do you think they are worth their price tag? I hear their shoes are but I am a bit skeptical about their bags though I am really smitten with it. What are your thoughts on this bag?

I have a few of their shoes! I do love them! The bag I haven’t personally tried though. If I was faced with a decision, I would probably want to get the Marc Jacobs one that’s similar, they have much cuter designs!
I love the star bag. I could see lots of uses for that. It would look fab with lots of outfits.

It sure would!
