My Favourite New Purchases – Kendra Scott, Cult Gaia, Gucci & More!

As you know, I’m currently in the United States and I’ve picked up a few new things while I’m out here, that I’m absolutely in love with! I didn’t have any intentions of buying something new, let alone a few things, but I’ve ended up seeing pieces I adore and just had to! Especially when there’s discounts involved! Funnily enough, the one thing I have been searching for (a new pair of sunglasses), I haven’t been able to find yet! That’s always the way, isn’t it? Ha ha. Anyway, lets get to my new purchases!

These were the definition of ‘window shopping’ for me! I was at Easton in Columbus and I saw these pink earrings after seeing this pink necklace (here) in the window of Kendra Scott, and I thought they were gorgeous. I carried on walking, but on the way back, I looked again and had to stop inside to check them out. In person they were stunning! I’ve actually had a pink enamel and gold combination earring on my wish list for years, and these finally match up to that!

They’re pink opal, and they’re called Kendra Scott Ellen Opal 18k Gold Vermeil Huggie Earrings in Bright Pink Kyocera Opal. They come in white, blue, and yellow too, but these are EVERYTHING! I also got a pair of the Ellen Huggie Earrings in 18k Gold Vermeil as I have two sets of holes in my ears, and they’re perfect paired together. If you love the pink opal, hurry as there’s only a few left! They’re selling like hot cakes! I ended up getting a discount in store too. They have a welcome signup discount online, which I asked them to match in the store, and they did, so always check on things like that if you’re buying in store!

Now these are the cutest little purple cargo shorts from American Eagle! When I saw them I fell in love and they reminded me so much of my childhood in the 90’s! They run a bit big so I’m in a size US 2 here, but I find the brand runs big in general. I’m usually a 2-4 in their clothes, and a UK 8/10 if that’s helpful. The purple colour is sold out online, but they do have some other shades online (click here). They were on discount too! I rarely ever buy anything at full retail anymore.

Now this is the Cult Gaia Mini Hera Bag in Clear Crystal and it’s STUNNING! I had actually had my eye on this bag for months after seeing it online, and I picked it up in the Shopbop Friends & Family sale with 25% off, so it was a steal! I’m obsessed with it too! I didn’t edit any of the photos, it literally sparkles like it’s edited. That’s how sparkly the crystals are in the sunlight. It’s incredible! If you need a new fancy bag, make it this one! As you know, I wasn’t really ever a perfume person as I am quite sensitive to chemical smells, but ever since I caught Covid in the winter, my sense of smell hasn’t fully come back and I can tolerate scents now, as long as they’re not too strong. I found the Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia in Ulta and absolutely fell in love with it. I tried it a few times over the days before buying it, and then had to! It’s a really fruity, floral, fun, slightly musky fragrance that’s perfect for summertime and it’s unique too! It’s so nice that it smells edible!

Then there’s Clinique Happy. I had never tried this one and I know it’s old from the 90’s, however Christen introduced me to it and it’s really nice as well. It’s floral, beachy, and light, while being fresh. I can’t really explain what these are like to smell, but it’s lovely! I got both of these with a $15 off coupon, and a sale price on the Clinique Happy. I recommend both of these! Those of you that know me will know that I love the country/western style and have ALWAYS wanted a pair of cowboy boots. The first time I went into Boot Barn here was in 2021 and I fell in love with pairs them, but didn’t have room in my luggage. This time I decided to just make room, or I will ship them to myself! Aren’t these SO cute?! They are the Idyllwind Western Booties (made in Mexico) and I got them with my $25 discount coupon, so I didn’t pay full retail. I think they’re adorable and I cannot wait to wear them everywhere!

These are not my usual buy, but I saw the purple cargo pants in American Eagle and fell in love with them as they reminded me of my youth. I got them in a size US 6 as it’s all they had at the time, so they were quite baggy, and on sale for 60% off! They were only $24.99.

When I got them back to Christen’s house though, I read online that they stretch loads, so I decided I needed to size down and went on a hunt for some size 4’s, which were too big, so I ended up with size 2, and then I saw they had cream and orange too! I fell in love with all of the colours and took them, to decide which to keep at a later date!

I originally loved the green, but it was sold out in my size. They are super stretchy and comfy, so I did pick up a 00 in the green, and I’m gonna see if I can make that work since they run huge. They still have a few left online, click here to buy them.

I randomly came across these three gorgeous O.P.I nail polish shades in Ulta too! The red shade is called Cajun Shrimp, the metallic darker purple is called Reykjavik Has All The Hot Spots (worn on my fingers), and the magenta purple pinkish shade (bottom right) is called Aurora Berry-alis. These are all really pretty! Just click the names of them to purchase.

I got these in the sale from Moon Cat too! They are some gorgeous nail polishes. The top row from left to right is: Winds of Fate and A Doll’s House. The second row from left to right is: Strangeberry, A Midsummer’s Dream, and Aphrodisiac. I love all of these shades and they wear really well too! Just click on the names to purchase these shades.

Again from Boot Barn, the first time I was in the store this time around (a couple of weeks ago), I fell in love with this gorgeous top and necklace combination, and then found a cute pair of beige pink jeans, and put the outfit together to see what it was like. It was love at first sight and I decided to get the whole look!

This top is incredible and is called Idyllwind Printed Crop Top, and it runs big, so I’m wearing an XS. The necklace is sold out online as it was in the sale, but it has a really nice western vibe to it! And works perfectly with the top. The jeans are the Cleo + Wolf Peach High Rise Distressed Jeans and they’re on sale! They run pretty true to size and I am wearing a 27×27 in the jeans.

I’m showing the top and necklace combination here with some American Eagle 90’s Distressed Denim Shorts that I picked up. Then I also picked up a Denim Mini Skirt from American Eagle! This was even cheaper, I think it was around $16 and I’m obsessed with it! I’ve worn it a lot already. It works with cute t-shirts and sandals, as much as it does with my western top. You can buy it here as it’s now only $9.99.

Then finally we have two pairs of American Eagle Sandals! The ones I brought with me have been hurting my feet as they have no padding at all and have been giving me back ache, so I found these in the shop in brown and crochet white, but managed to order them online with a discount code! It was hard work getting the crochet ones as they were sold out, so I kept refreshing until someone returned my size! They’re super comfortable, chic, and pretty! I love them! You can buy them here.
