Happy New Year! It’s 2025 already?
I just wanted to say Happy New Year to all of you. It’s crazy just how fast 2024 went by, and how fast 2025 is going by. It’s already the 10th! I’ve been super busy as Christen is still here, we’ve been going on lots of trips and just recently got back from a 4 day stay in London where we did lots of touristy things like Tower Bridge, Tower of London, The British Museum etc, and there’s still so much that we want to do!
In my usual tradition here on Ford la Femme, I thought I would share all of my outfits from the previous year. Usually I share my favourite outfits, however for 2024, I’m well aware that I didn’t share that many, and there were a couple of months that I didn’t get to share any at all. It’s weird seeing that in my blogging history because outfit posts were always my main focus, and the content that you love the most, but as I mentioned in my Christmas blog post, 2024 was a year of struggle and up and downs for me in terms of my health. I wasn’t able to do everything that I wanted to.
I also said that will improve for 2025 as I am undergoing different treatments and doctor advice, which is already helping me improve, so I know 2025 will be filled with a lot more outfit content and more personal posts. I still have personal content from road trips and places to share with you from months ago and I haven’t yet been able to! Anyway, lets take a look back at the year 2024 in outfits!
January
This was a sparkly Christmas look that I shared in January for the new year of 2024. I cannot believe that this was a year ago! The time has literally flown by.
February
This was shot when there was warmer weather, but I didn’t get around to sharing it until the February due to various circumstances. So it wasn’t a February appropriate outfit, but still cute.
March
One of my favourites! I love this knitted black wrap dress from Abercrombie & Fitch! I’ve worn it a lot of times and I think it’s so flattering.
April
Leather back jeans! I love these! This was a fun outfit that I put together and I think all the black and gold together, with different fabrics, works really well.
May
May was a good month and I ended up sharing 4 different outfit posts! I remember feeling really well and determined to get back to posting outfit content. I think the 2 summer dresses are my favourite and the yellow and white floral dress, sat on the wall, is one of my favourite pictures of all time.
June
I loved this outfit too as it was a collaboration with Blue Vanilla. I chose the whole outfit and it was just so summery, elegant and fun! I love oranges.
August
I ended up missing July entirely and just posting in August. This one was for my birthday outfit. Pink and white is really pretty and I think it’s cute and feminine.
October
Then I ended up missing September as well, due to health issues, so we went straight to October. Christen shot these pictures for me at Gorman Nature Centre in Ohio. I love red!
November
November was a collaboration with FolaShocky, a t-shirt company, and I dressed them up with these outfits. I love layering with browns and coats in the autumn time.
December
And finally, my most recent look from December for Christmas. A pretty green plaid skirt with a burgundy turtleneck. This might be one of my favourites from the year! Which outfit do you like?
