Instead of making separate posts for my press day visits this season, I decided to compile them all together in one big post. Unfortunately for Spring/Summer 2013 I am not able to share with you the entire collections as it’s too soon, so I am only allowed to show a few photos for each collection. I did however choose the best ones and my favourite pieces so I think you will like it!
This post includes the Lulu Guinness, Diesel, Coach, J Brand, Acne, MiH, Dodo and Pinko (in order) Spring/Summer 2013 collections. I do have some other brands, but those are not allowed to be posted until January/February time. Comment and let me know your favourites!
This is the new Spring/Summer 2013 collection from Lulu Guinness and it was Miami inspired as you can tell from the car clutch and keyring and flamingo purse. Everything, even the scenery, was Miami themed and although she had some statement pieces like this for the collection, she also had her classic pieces and Lips clutches in a few pastel shades.
I saw the new Spring/Summer 2013 collection from Diesel for DenimBlog, but I had to include it because they have some amazing new styles which I completely fell in love with. Everything pictured above is my favourite, especially the printed Livier jeans and the studded denim high tops. It’s all gorgeous! You can see the entire collection here.
I can say that I didn’t like the Spring/Summer 2013 collection for Coach as much as I did the last time I saw the Autumn/Winter styles, but they still had some really bright stand out pieces like their yellow and red shades. I also loved the neutral tan and cream classic bags, those were really beautiful!
Much like Diesel, I saw the J Brand Spring/Summer 2013 collection for DenimBlog and also fell in love with so many of the jeans! The printed orchid pair, the pastels and the pink galaxy print were so beautiful that I had to share them with you! I can definitely say that so many of these jeans are on my wish list for the coming season! You can also see the full collection here.
This Spring/Summer 2013 collection for Acne I can also say that I wasn’t that fond of compared to their Autumn/Winter 2012 collection. There were some bright greens and yellows as well as a baby blue and black striped leather jacket and some feminine pieces like floaty dresses and tops, but I didn’t like as many styles as I did previously. What do you think?
Again I saw MiH for DenimBlog, but their Spring/Summer 2013 season is my favourite one so far! They ventured out into prints, colours, colour blocking, dyes and so much more. It’s their boldest and most fearless collection to date and I absolutely love it. I went there expecting to see a lot of classic blues, but was completely taken by suprise! There are so many jeans here that I would love to own! You can see the full collection here.
I saw the Dodo jewellery Spring/Summer 2013 collection, like I saw their Autumn/Winter 2012 pieces last time, but I can say that I wasn’t as fond of their designs this time around. They didn’t have as many on display, but I still loved the LOVE pieces and the cute felt decorations. Dodo is a brand that I am very fond of due to the fact that they love animals and donate money all the time to help the endangered species. That’s something I keep very close to my heart. You can find out more in my last post here.
And now last, but not least, I have a few photos from the Pinko Spring/Summer 2013 collection. I loved the complete feminine vibe that this collection has and the way everything was presented was beautiful. They even have a tough leather jacket, but in a blush pink so it’s easily made girly. I love those tan strappy sandals just above as well as some of the knitwear and trousers. Overall it was a very pretty collection. If you have feminine girly style, then I would say to watch out for it because it would suit you very well. You can see the previous Pinko collection here.
Those purses are gorgeous!!! I just bought a lovely little yellow satchel for my sis for Christmas!
Oh that sounds really sweet!
Lulu Guinness has such adorable things and Coach has such mature bags…

LuLu Guiness is certainly funky, there are some nice pieces in all the collections, only wish I had a wad of money to go get them all LOL x

Still trying to understand this post 🙂 well, have fun all you girls out there! ^^
Lol I don’t think you will understand it 🙂
Aw no, I missed you at the Lulu Guinness Press Day. When were you there? Maybe you read my name in the book (I think I was the first blogger there early morning). Did you get to see Lulu? She was there when I arrived but left a bit later I think. xx
Oh! Since I travel to London I always get to the pres days in the afternoon and I was at Lulu at around 2pm. She had left, I always end up missing her lol. I’ve not met her yet! Maybe next time we should go at a similar time!
That would be great. I would’ve been there in the afternoon too, but a friend of me went there early morning and I wanted to see her. Was so glad though because that way I got to meet Lulu (I couldn’t believe my eyes when she walked past me; I got so excited, lol)! xx
How is she in person? I know she seems so lovely and friendly and very petite!
Love the new colours and design of Coach bags… Thanks for sharing!!
You are welcome!
She is small! I’m 5’8″ and I think she’s about 5’3″. She was very lovely and asked me if I like the collection. And she looked sooo glamorous! xx
Oh yeah every time I see her on TV she looks glamorous, she’s a real character. Maybe next time I can meet her!
