Neutral Shades Of Brown & Black

(Jeans – Similar, Jumper – Similar, Coat – Similar, Collar – Exact, Bag – Similar, Boots – Similar)

I wore this outfit yesterday when I went to town and for a walk in the park with my boyfriend. We spent most of the time in the park actually, looking at the squirrels and enjoying the scenery. I wore a really similar outfit to the one I wore last year in February. I chose my Zara Cream Coat with a Faux Fur Collar added to it, which I layered over my Zara Knitted Brown Jumper. It wasn’t as warm as I hoped though so I did end up getting a little bit chilly in this! For jeans, I went with my classic Levi’s Black Skinny Jeans which I tucked into my Zara black pointed boots. I really love wearing these boots now. You may remember them from my outfit post last week with the burgundy coat and leopard scarf/bag, but I think they go with so many things!

For my bag, I chose my Mulberry Mini Taylor in Deer Brown to tie in with the colour scheme. I haven’t worn this one in a while as I tend to keep it more for a Summer or Spring bag, but I thought I would brave it as I love it so much! I really like neutral combinations like this with black, brown and cream as I think it’s such a classic. It does make a big change for me not to actually be wearing any colour here though! Ha ha! On another note as well, I made a purchase yesterday on a whim after finding the most perfect shoes! I had been wanting them for months and months and found them on sale by accident in Square boutique in Bath, so I can’t wait to share those with you! They are amazing! I’m so glad that I finally own them! If you follow me on Instagram (@LornaRaindrops) though, you will already know what they are! Anyway, what do you think of the outfit? Do you like it?

Great outfit! Looks like something I would pick out for myself to wear.
I’m wondering what the inside of your Mulberry is like? Is there a lot of compartments and space inside? You know, one of those small bags with a surprising amount of room?

    Best

It’s just normal inside, one compartment. I think it has a zip on the back wall for a secure compartment, but it does fit a tonne of stuff in it if you want to! Glad you like my outfit!

This is just what I was hoping for, dear Lorna.
Sending you all my appreciation and thanks for making it happen.
As to the actual look: If there’s such a thing as ‘cuddly elegance’, this must be it ?
But also ladylike, in the very best sense of the word, with all your classy, understated beauty.
Perfectly simple, or just simply perfect ?

I took your advice on that one! I thought it would be a great place to sit like that on the bench and it worked well! I think the boots are pretty! Glad you liked it!
