Houston, We Have A Giraffe Problem

I got to choose this wonderful Giraffe print shirt from Lavish Alice online and have been waiting for the right weather to style it. I was originally thinking of pairing it with my gold skinny jeans and nude heels, but that really didn’t work as I ended up looking something like a 70’s pimp, ha ha. I decided on going with something classic and opted for my Citizens of Humanity Rocket Leatherette skinny jeans in black. I don’t think you can ever really go wrong when it comes to black jeans, but it helps a huge amount when you have a coated pair which have similarities to leather, much like these.

I was then thinking about what shoes to wear with this look and thought about matching them to the trim of my shirt, which is why I chose my Christian Louboutin Declic 90 heels in Barbie Pink! The colour was pretty much an identical match and I thought it looked quite cool in a way. It stood out a lot more than black heels would have, so I went with it. I hadn’t worn these shoes in a while (even though I absolutely love them) due to their brightness really, but I know in some instances, like this one, they can really work well! Now for my bag, I chose my Balenciaga Mini City Baby Diam in Black Suede to keep with the colour theme. I’m so in love with this bag as you already know from my previous post, it just goes with everything and it’s small enough to never be overwhelming.     Love the outfit – just enough pink to stand out without going too over the top – and the lipstick balances out the shoes to bring it all together. The giraffe print is one of my favourites at the moment x
