(Jeans – Exact, Blazer – Similar, Top – Exact, Shoes – Exact, Bag – Exact, Necklace – Exact)
You may have noticed that I haven’t made a post in a couple of days, but that’s because I have some exciting news! You have probably seen it already since you are reading this, but I spent the last two days changing my blogs layout. I’m really happy with it now and I think it looks a lot more sleek and clean. It has a lot of new features, so my menu bar is now at the top of the screen and it’s much more interactive. I’ve split my outfits into seasons, I have personal posts accessible like updates, videos, inspiration etc, I also have beauty and general fashion categories, so you can easily access posts on my shoes, bags, watches, sunglasses, wellies, gift guides, DIY etc and I’ve set up a better shop system and my top posts are now in a drop down! Not only that, but I have a newer and cleaner banner with the text incorporated as well as accessible sections of my personal style blog in the sidebar. I really do think it looks a lot better and more functional! What do you think?
Now onto my outfit, I’ve been waiting a little while to post this one! I decided to go with a red, black and white theme a few weeks ago, before I bought my new Christian Louboutin Pigalle in Black, but the weather was terrible so it wasn’t possible to shoot the photos. It worked out well in a way because it meant I could then style this outfit with the shoes and the Rebecca Minkoff Red Skinny Jeans match the soles of my shoes perfectly! I’m really loving primary red at the moment, it’s so intense and pretty to look at! Black is always a classic to pair with any colour, as is white, which is why I chose my Zara White Blazer and my H&M Black Tee. I then finished it off with my Balenciaga Mini City in Black Suede and to add a little bit more red, my Swarovski Crystal Heart Pendant and a couple of rings. I quite like how it turned out as it’s something different to what I usually wear. What do you think of it? Comment and let me know!

Thanks Courtney!
You mention that this is different to what you usually wear.
But to me, it’s actually well in tune with your usual cool style of casual heels/jeans/blazer elegance.
However, I admit that it must have taken you another step of self-confidence, and another level of embracing your femininity, to boil it all down to this look of intense colors (‘The Black, The White & The Red’ = ‘The Sensual, The Elegant & The Sexiness’). All held together by those great Louboutins; and by the fact that the blazer is either 10 cm from being too long, or that it’s actually 10 cm too short, depending on context and point of view. Only 10 cm between sharp office look and flirty sexiness. And as usual, you master this fine balance with so much feminine flair and dignified beauty. You are amazing, Lorna !!

Lol thanks Karsten. I meant different in terms of red, I don’t really ever wear primary red. I don’t own any jeans in that bright red shade or anything really in bright red, so that’s what’s different for me. I need to stock up on more red though, I’m usually in burgundy shades, so bright red is a nice change for Spring!
Hehe….Seems I got overwhelmed by how intensely the red jeans worked together with, and even got enhanced by, the Louboutins 🙂
Magic stuff !!
