(Overalls – Exact, Jacket – Similar, Shoes – Exact, Bag – Exact, Necklace – Similar)
This is the outfit that I put together yesterday for a day out in town. It was fairly warm, but with a slight breeze, so it meant that I was finally able to wear what I had been putting together in my head for a while. I saw something similar to this on another blogger a while back, well, when I say similar, I mean blue overalls and a blazer, but I wanted to style it myself a little differently. I got these really pretty short denim dungarees/overalls from Topshop a couple of weeks ago and fell in love with them. I don’t usually wear Topshop denim (other than jackets) as I don’t find the fit to be great, but these are absolutely adorable! I took them in a UK size 8 and they fit quite slim, with some room in the hips and waist.
Now getting to the outfit, I layered them over a simple white tee from H&M and then wore my Zara black zipper blazer over the top. I thought this really smartened the combination up and stopped it from being too casual. That’s why I also added the statement necklace from Topshop, just to make things a bit more bold. For my shoes, I went with my new Topshop Heavenly sandals and I absolutely love these are they have a heel to give you height, but it’s more of a platform so you aren’t walking on anything steep. They are so comfortable! Then, because there was no colour in my look at all, I chose my Rebecca Minkoff Mini MAB bag in Port and a red lip to match. I think this might actually be one of my favourite looks so far this year! What do you think of it?

I envy your ability to consistently carry miniature bags. I have a couple but don’t use them nearly enough, I always feel like I have to have enough space to fit everything in my purse. Completely ridiculous as I never actually carry around that much stuff.

Lol, I actually carry next to nothing, only my purse, phone, lip balm/lip stick, a compact mirror and some tissue. Sometimes I will have a phone charger in there, but that’s about it. I can’t carry bigger heavier bags as my shoulders and back hurt, so small bags are all I have! I love them!
