(Jeans – Exact, Blazer – Similar, Top – Similar, Shoes – Exact, Ears – Exact)
I know that I’m British, therefore I don’t celebrate Independence Day, however I know the majority of my readers are American, so I thought it would be fun to do a red, white and blue outfit inspired by the 4th of July. In a way, this could also represent the Union Jack since we share the same colours, but happy 4th of July everyone! For tomorrow of course!
I started with a red base, opting for my Rebecca Minkoff Thompson skinny jeans in Red, then I chose a navy top, using my Forever 21 Cropped Tie Shirt and then added some cream to the mix with my Zara Zip Blazer, which I picked up in the sale. I was quite happy with the base of this look as the red, white and blue worked well together. I didn’t want to add more colour, that’s why I chose my Christian Louboutin Pigalle 100 in Black, to keep things classic. Although, I did go for a bright red lip to match the jeans! So, this is my attempt at being patriotic to a country that I love, but haven’t yet visited! Let me know what you think of my outfit and I would love to know your plans! Are you doing anything fun to celebrate?
On another note, please do check out my 4th of July styling jeans blog post that I made up yesterday, for those of you who are stuck on what to wear. It has 5 different looks, all for different occasions and I think you will like it. And, I have a really cool discount opportunity for you! Feel Unique beauty store has a £10 off of a £25 spend code! £25 worth of products for £15! Use the code MSEJUL14 but it ends very soon though! I used it yesterday and it works! They only have 10,000 codes and they are going fast! Have a great weekend!
As I love Disney though, I got these Minnie Mouse ears from the ASOS x Disney collection. Aren’t they just adorable? I thought this post would be ideal for including them since Disney is American!

Make-up and the knotted top = A feel of 1950’s pin-up – Sweet, playful femininity.
The red details of lipstick, jeans, and Louboutins = A feel of intense femininity. The magic sexiness of those shoes and your high-heeled curves.
The blazer = This unique Lorna-feel, combinig all of the above with a touch of timeless elegance.
I know I keep repeating myself, Lorna – But you are just the best !!
