The Brown Leather Biker Jacket

The Brown Leather Biker Jacket With Jeans

I wanted to start off by saying that I really hope everyone in Wales and the South West where I am are ok. Storm Imogen that we had was absolutely awful and even though I am fine, I know a lot of people aren’t. I know many places have been flooded, trees have landed on cars, debris and things have smashed windows, people lost electricity and some even lost roofs! Bridges were closed, boats were cancelled and a guy even lost his life being blown off a cliff into the sea, so sad. I’ve never actually been in the middle of a proper storm like that one before and I was terrified. I barely slept all through the night due to the house shaking and being scared of the wind, which in turn made me really ill these past few days. I’m really happy that it’s passed over now and things are looking a lot brighter. Definitely an awful 24 hours though.

Getting to my outfit though, I was wearing my new All Saints Balfern Leather Biker Jacket in Sahara which I layered over my Oasis The Perfect Crew in Brown. I paired both of these with my trusty Citizens of Humanity Skinny Jeans in Aura and then tucked them into my Seven Boot Lane boots. Since I wanted to add some colour to the outfit, I went with a pop of yellow with my Cambridge Satchel Mini Bag. This was my first time wearing the jacket out since the weather had decided to be ok on this day (a couple of weekends ago). I honestly can’t wait for it to warm up a bit more and stop raining so that I can wear my leather jackets more regularly. Anyway, what do you think of my outfit?

You look gorgeous, Lorna! I hope you are having a really good month health-wise too hon. So considerate of you to think about others and especially those who might have been hit badly by Imogen.

That storm Imogen was obviously really bad and I appreciate your sympathy – this speaks in your favour. You look good in your look with the brown leather jacket and I love the pop of yellow!

Your leather jacket is so edgy!! It makes you look like a biker. I love how you paired it with jean and a nude sweater, the combination is pure perfection. I love the yellow because it adds pizzazz to the whole look. You are such a vision Lorna!

Firstly, I’m so glad that you came through the storm unscathed. 🙂 I can only imagine how frightening it must have been. All we had was maybe an hour or so of torrential rain with unusually strong winds but nothing damaging. I remember the rain came on just as we were leaving work – and we all got a soaking to the skin and were moaning to each other about it but totally unaware, at that moment, that it was a part of something much bigger that was happening elsewhere. :O

Anyway, onto your outfit. 🙂 Well, basically it’s absolutely brilliant. That jacket suits you so well – the colour is just perfect on you as is the shape of it. I also really like the sweater and how it compliments the jacket (and it also compliments your hair too, I think). Then, of course, there are those perfect jeans which always look amazing every time you wear them. Very early days, I know, but my favourite of your 2016 outfits so far… 😀

The old tunnel (and/orbridge?) is very atmospheric in these photos isn’t it?

It’s kind of a spooky tunnel isn’t it? It’s a runnel underneath the railway track above, very dark and dirty lol. Not something I’m used to, but Adam said he thought we should shoot there. I’m really glad everything was ok here from the storm, it was certainly scary though. I am sure you did get completely soaked! Glad you like the outfit though 🙂

It was a brilliant idea by Adam. It really works well for atmosphere. Yes, I can see that it’s a bit spooky so probably not somewhere to be outside of daylight hours. 🙂 It reminds be a bit of a really gloomy tunnel that we used to go through when doing cross country running at school. Lol

Yeah I don’t think I would like to be in tunnels like that at night, that’s for sure, ha ha. In the Winter though it’s always hard trying to scout locations as everything is so dull and bare! Much prefer the Summer 🙂

All Saints jackets are very cool, this one really suits you and its a bit different in brown. I’ve just brought the ink Conroy jacket, the fit is so nice, nothing else compares to it now! Time to start saving for the oxblood version….

          • February 15, 2016 / 12:15 pm

Yeah that’s really cool isn’t it. I think they do a ladies version of the Conroy, just in case you want another All Saints jacket for your collection 😉

Ha ha, I know, I’ve seen them multiple times, as well as the popular Cargo one. If I got another leather jacket though it would hopefully be a Boda Skins one 🙂

I like the pop of colour from your bag, Laura.
A brown leather jacket is a good alternative to the black one.

On a completely frivolous outfit note, I love the pop of colour with the yellow bag 🙂

Hi, again, dear Lorna! I was away for some weeks and now I am back! And after holidays, when I walked like 7 hours a day, I needed to recover, I was so tired. Took me weeks to be OK like today, again! I definitely need more vitamins! Well, let me tell you that you look soooo beautiful and sweet and that the jeans are great, the jacket really amazing and the bag in yellow, wow! You look really fabulous! Hope you are fine! I am glad that you didn’t feel the storm that much, but sad that someone has lost his life because of it 🙁

Hi Lorna. So sorry to hear about the storm which affected your part of the country. It sounds really scary. I hope you’re feeling a lot better now, after the disruption and sleepless night.

On a positive note, your outfit in this post looks ultra-chic and very sophisticated. I love the way you’ve put the look together, and the animal print detail on your boots is a really nice touch.

    Happy Friday!
