Monochrome Grey Over The Knee Boots Outfit
Happy Wednesday everyone! I wanted to quickly say thank you to you for the amazing love and support you all gave me on my previous post celebrating my 9 years of blogging and body confidence! You’re all so wonderful and it’s been one of my best posts on Instagram in terms of engagement as well, so it’s not going unnoticed how much support you all give me.
I’m glad you’re all really liking the new way I edit my photos too, which actually leads me to this location. There’s so many pretty crescents and circus areas here in Bath that they make the best backdrops for my outfits, especially with the use of lighting, and hints of orange and blue, it really plays off of the Bath stone that all the buildings use. You might think that I’m often using the same location, but I’m not, there’s at least 5 different crescents I use here, ha ha.
Anyway, for this outfit, I was wearing a jumper that I got in the sale from Topman (buy it here) for only £12! Adam had got one and I really liked it, so I had to get the same, naturally, ha ha. It’s so cosy and soft though, so I decided to pair it with my L’AGENCE Margot Skinny Jeans in Graphite (my favourite ankle jeans ever!), which I put my ASOS Western Belt around to break it up and tuck the jumper into. To make it a bit more feminine, I wore my DUO Grey Over The Knee Boots again, and then finished it off with my Saint Laurent Sac de Jour in Grey. I’m a huge fan of monochrome looks and this one really ended up being one I loved. I’ve included more of a closer pic of my Design Letters Necklace too, so you can see it with the stars!
After about 2 hours of walking around in these boots though, my feet were killing and I couldn’t wait to take them off. A little secret is that I always carry flats around with me if I’m in heels, just in case because my legs starts to hurt first, but then my feet become too painful. I have to be careful with my skin too as it breaks and blisters incredibly easy, but thankfully with these, it’s only the balls of my feet that end up painful. It’s a look I love though and one that I couldn’t wait to share with you! Funnily enough, numerous people who walked by kept looking at my boots as well, so I think they are probably the star piece of this outfit if they are what caught peoples attention. What do you think? But as always, please do let me know what you think of the entire outfit and you can shop the items below! Lorna xx.

It’s a beautiful monochrome look, but the boots are definitely my favorite part. I actually have a pair of grey over-the-knee boots that I love to wear.

So glad you do!
It’s a shame those boots aren’t comfortable as they look so good on you and are perfect in your monochrome outfit. I’m liking how cosy and soft the grey knit looks too, I can’t wait for jumper weather here. It’s another heatwave at the moment! Autumn weather tends to take a while to arrive though in Brisbane, haha!
Hope that your week is going well 🙂

They are totally fine for the first couple of hours, but after that and doing lots of walking, they’re not, but it’s the same for any heels really, ha ha. We’re having loads of storms here, it’s madness. Glad you’re well 🙂
Such a smart idea to carry flats with you in your purse.

Thank you so much! Really glad you like it! There’s some proper photos and a video on my Instagram too if you want the link?
Obviously it is difficult for me to stay „neutral“ when it comes to neutrals. Hopefully I am not wrong about the word ha ha as you were so kind to explain the terms. Anyway, regardless of my level of knowledge 🙂 I like the outfit very much. It is also quite a „multi purpose“ one I think as there would be a wide range of occasions when one can wear it. The boots fit in here perfectly. And you chose the background once again very well.

I would dare anyone to look at this outfit and still claim that grey is boring! No hope for them if they can’t see the error of their ways after that. 😀
That jumper is a great bargain! Wow! It looks as though it’s probably very comfy too? Once again it’s another great victory for those jeans. It looks like you’ll never find anything that they don’t go well with. 😀 The necklace is really cute too – I like the subtle beauty of it. 🙂

Ha ha, thank you, Steven! I would hope they can see that grey can be full of intrigue and class 😀 I like styling neutrals as it’s easy to do and often showcases the pieces in a more subtle way, which I like! And yes, it’s super soft and comfortable, definitely a winner on that front!
Love this entire look! ANd your pictures are so crispy!
