Palm Print Shorts With A Green Outfit
These photos were taken when there was a break in the rain at Lyme Regis, and I love how they turned out actually. Instead of using the beach for these ones, I wanted to find a place that showcased all the beauty that is nature, and there’s lots of it. After rain, everything always looks more plush and green, and I thought that would make a great backdrop to this outfit, which is mostly green and white, giving it a fresh, clean feel to it. I don’t usually have a lot of green in my photos these days as I tend to favour the more city scenery, or oranges, but this is refreshing!
For this outfit, I wore a pair of Palm Print Shorts from H&M, paired with a Mango Knitted Tank Top, and layered my H&M Khaki Green Cardigan over the top. I hadn’t actually planned on wearing this cardigan much as it was just for the chillier days, but I wore it every day and it ended up matching this look perfectly, which I love. I finished it off with my Sam Edelman White Loafers, to give it a little more classiness, and then added in my Loefller Randall Louise Basket Bag. I got this a few months ago and due to the weather, hadn’t had any time to wear it, which is why I took it to Lyme Regis and wore it every day I was there. It’s actually so useful and so easy to carry, as it’s super lightweight on its own. Then finally, my necklace is also by Mango (click here for it) and I had on my RADO Open Heart Skeleton Watch again!
Going forward, for all my other Lyme Regis photos, they are all shot by the beach, so this was the only one using the greenery. I can’t actually wait to share the rest with you as there’s some seriously beautiful locations! I did also shoot a video of this look for IGTV, panning around the outfit and showcasing some of the views around me, which I think you will like! Click here to watch it on IGTV, and if you missed my previous outfit, you can check out my blue playsuit look here. Anyway, please let me know what you think of my outfit and if you love the green! I know you will, Steven! Lorna xx.

So happy you love it!
You color coordinated this outfit so well with the tropical pants! I love the warm earthy tones for this outfit and definitely can see how you can wear these shorts with several different outfits in the summer time.

Thank you! Yes, they really are so versatile!
Most people wearing green are not wearing *this* green, which is probably what makes it so interesting. Great pattern on those shorts, too. Well done, as usual.

That’s ok, Steven! I know you have been busy! So glad you like it!
Well, more ill than busy really… but I suppose that being ill eats up time in exactly the same way as being busy does. 😉 LOL

I’m sorry to hear that, Steven 🙁
Thanks. 🙂 It’s an ongoing battle on two fronts (mental health and blood pressure).
