Snake Print Leather Skirt With Thigh High Boots
Happy Weekend everyone! The story behind this outfit is an interesting one, ha ha! I put this look together a few months ago (maybe 4-5) and I took it with me on a previous shoot, so that I could take pics of it, but unfortunately never got around to it as other looks took precedence. I then took it with me a second time, and the same thing happened! So third time lucky, my mum and I actually got to shoot this outfit a few weeks ago, finally! So here it is! And as it turns out, I love it! I think it might be one of my favourite looks that I’ve put together in recent years!
For this look, I had on my Allsaints Lena Oba Leather Snakeprint Skirt, which I tucked my 525 Beige Roll Neck Top into. I layered my Zara Oatmeal Coat over the top of my shoulders, pulled my DUO Empress Over The Knee Boots on, and finished it off with my Louis Vuitton Mini Palm Springs Backpack. This skirt is actually one of my favourites as I love the snakeprint on it! Sometimes this kind of print can come across as trashy, but Allsaints did a fantastic job of keeping it classy! I also think that mixing it with neutrals, different fabrics, and proportions, is a key way to keeping it styled and chic. It’s in the sale currently, and does run a little bit big in terms of sizing. I would love your opinion on this outfit too! What do you think? Lorna xx.

Hope you are having a fun weekend. The rain has stopped here so we went out to one of the unflooded trails in the neighbourhood yesterday 🙂

Thank you, Ian! Glad you like it!
I really like your 1960’s retro inspired outfit especially with the leather mini skirt, including the suede over the knee boots, jewelry, tight turtleneck sweater, trench coat, handbag, and it looks like a beautiful tribute to Twiggy back in late 1960’s.

Hi Lorna,
I was reading your post on choosing an Allsaints leather jacket. Its very helpful! I really want to buy the Dalby in black.I am struggling to select the right size online! Normally I’m a uk size 8 in most shops.I may get away with a 6 sometimes too, although I find sometimes sleeves can be a tiny bit tight in a 6. I measured my bust and its 31 inches which says I’m a uk size 4 according to the allsaints website. I definitely am not/ have never been a uk size 4. Just dont know what size to run with? Any advice? I cant afford to order a few sizes! I saw that you ordered size 6/ 8. What is your regular size?

Hi Bernie!
My chest is 38 inches or so, but I never zip mine up. What’s your waist? I always base mine on what fits my shoulders. I’m pretty much a 8-10 now as I gained a bit of weight, in most places. I find Allsaints to run similar to most high street brands, but a little bigger. So if you’re a UK 8, if you want it snug, maybe try the 6? If you want it a normal fit that’s comfy, try the 8? 🙂
I love this skirt It’s super cool. It absolutely suits the tops and handbag. I will try this one.
