Happy Holidays Everyone!
I’m in the United States again, spending Christmas and New Year with Christen and his family. He just spent 5 weeks at mine over in England (I’m sure you saw my Instagram stories) and now I’m here. This time we are doing everything in a super festive way, and the tree that we put up in his room is so pretty! It’s all gold and silver, with frosted branches! I can’t wait to show you some Christmasy snaps soon!
I have spent the last 6 weeks or so doing lots of tourism and traveling around the UK, so I have many photos to share with you from those trips too! I’m just finding the time to get everything together. I will probably include some of them in my yearly roundup blog post!
In the meantime though, this is my festive look for this year! Usually I do a Santa costume or something like that, but I wanted to do a Christmasy outfit, that’s classy too! I put together my Topshop Burgundy Corduroy Plaid Skirt and layered it with my 525 America Turtle Neck in Beige. I finished it off with my Loeffler Randall Ankle Boots, my brand new Saint Laurent Small Kate Bag (I will be reviewing this soon), and some Sheertex Tights. I would have had jewellery too, but I accidentally left it all at home in my Stackers travel jewellery box!
For those of you who haven’t heard of Sheertex, these tights (*gifted) are so cool! I did an Instagram Reel featuring how unbreakable they are – you can literally try and rip them with your nails and pull them, stomp on them, and they don’t get any ladders or rips! I will say that they are not immune to cat claws, as I do have a tiny snag from a cat claw, however they are basically impenetrable otherwise! I wish I knew about these when I was younger! I would always have ladders and nail rips.
These photos were shot in the Mall here in Ohio, and Santa had just left his grotto! So I got to take some pictures by the decorations, ha ha. I love the tree so much! I actually took photos here last year at Christmas, if you remember it here, and this year I wanted more of a feminine look. Let me know what you think of it, and I hope you have a very Merry Christmas! Lorna xx.
