The Long Sleeve Pink Satin Dress Outfit
Happy Saturday everyone! I hope you’re all doing good. I’m sharing another brand new outfit with you here on my fashion blog, and I hope you like it! I’m really liking satin and silky fabrics at the moment, as I’m sure you can tell, so I’m going to get straight to this outfit for you.
I was wearing an Abercrombie & Fitch Long Sleeve Satin Drapey Shirt Dress that has quickly become one of my favourite dresses of the spring season actually! It’s one of the brand’s new long-sleeve shirt dresses in a super soft satin fabric, featuring a classic collar with a v-neckline, a crossover draped bodice, an elasticated waist detail, button details at the cuffs, and a drapey wrap skirt. It’s like the perfect combination of a wrap dress and a shirt dress in one!
I did wear the cream beige version of this satin long sleeve dress in a previous outfit post, but I have to say that the pink is definitely more me! I love pink against my skin tone! It’s one of my favourite colours to wear. For those of you interested in the satin long sleeve shirt dress, I took the regular length and a size small. The sleeve length is around 32″ and the body is around 33.75″ according to the website measurements, however that doesn’t look like it adds up when I look at it on me. It’s absolutely gorgeous though and it also features a little hook and eye to close the dress across the chest, since it has wrap detailing.
For the rest of the outfit, I opted to throw my REISS White Blazer over my shoulders to make it look a little more elegant and classy – like I like to do. There’s something about layering a blazer with a dress that just really elevates it to the next level. I spoke about a similar styling to this in my last outfit post with the bodycon dress, as it works just as well with a structured coat.
For the shoes, I opted for my Tamara Mellon Nude Heels as I think they’re one of the best shoes for sleek and chic outfits. You can never go wrong with a nude heel to elongate the legs and blend in with your skin tone (if you’re pale like me).
Then lastly, for my bag, I opted for my Saint Laurent Small Manhattan Bag in Blanc Vintage. I recently did a Saint Laurent YSL Small Manhattan Bag review for you all, which has been one of my more popular YouTube videos recently, so I know that so many of you absolutely adore this bag! It couldn’t be more perfect if you’re on the lookout for a classic, versatile, elegant bag for the summer! The white with the gold hardware is just everything! I love it! You’re definitely going to be seeing this YSL bag a lot more this summer!
So this is my full outfit featuring this gorgeous Abercrombie & Fitch pink satin shirt dress and I love how elegant it turned out. It’s definitely a dress that you can dress up – you can’t go wrong with it! I definitely recommend it to you, and it comes in black or beige too, if pink isn’t your thing. My only negative with this dress is that it does wrinkle and crease super easily! What do you think of this outfit that I’m wearing? You can also see a get ready with me video I did on Instagram of this outfit here.
