Here is the outfit that I said I would share with you after showing you the snow photos yesterday. I decided to call it hints of neon because I only had a little bit of my jumper/sweater showing and the neon yellow bag is very small. As you know, I absolutely love the neon trend, so I am having fun finding ways to style the brights. I think simplicity and small doses are the key, otherwise it’s too much.
I’m wearing 7 For All Mankind jeans, an ASOS long sleeved t-shirt and neon yellow bag, my Topshop neon pink jumper, cream scarf and pink gloves, my Zara coat, a River Island hat and my Sam Edelman Petty booties.
Even with all of these layers it was still freezing! This jumper is one of the warmest ones I own though, it actually kept my top half warm. Isn’t the snow beautiful? It was definitely fun taking photos amongst all of the snow. I didn’t even mind that it was getting in my hair and making it knotty, ha ha. I was worried about my boots though! Luckily they don’t have any marks on them. What do you think of my outfit?

Oh honey, cute outfit, but you look frozen, that get-up will never do the trick to keep you snuggly! You need a longer, thicker coat that covers your tush and at least some of your legs, and real boots with some fuzzy fleece to keep your toes toasty! And button up (although I realize we wouldn’t see your cute sweater if you did that for the pics)! I’m cold just looking at the pictures! 🙂

Thanks Jen! I did button up when I wasn’t doing the photos. It was only my legs that were cold, I had 2 pairs of socks on, one pair being super thick too lol. I do have a longer coat, but since I have big feet for my tiny legs, I don’t like boots that look too big lol! I prefer style over warm boots really. Unless it’s way too cold 🙂

No I didn’t get ill! I’m ok 🙂 I don’t own a pair of neon heels, I do have coral Pigalles from Louboutin, which are fairly bright, but not super bright. I wouldn’t have been warm in neon heels anyway lol!

Did you treat your Petty boots with anything to protect them from the snow?

I was so worried about them for that reason, but no I didn’t, it snowed while I was out and I hadn’t treated them. They are perfectly fine though, no marks were left on them what so ever. I can’t say the same though if it was a downpour of rain, I wont wear them in heavy rain.
