My Navy Hunter Wellies Outfit

lorna-burford-navy-hunter-wellies

(Jeans – Exact, Wellies – Exact, Coat – Similar, Scarf – Similar)

So as promised, when I showcased my Hunter Wellies to you a little while ago, here is the outfit I planned around them. They came in very handy actually on this day as it was raining a lot and the wind was so strong, I was struggling to actually take some decent photos where my hair wasn’t all over the place.

I’m wearing my Hunter Navy Gloss Wellingtons, my AG Adriano Goldschmied Jeans, my Warehouse Navy Pea Coat and my Topshop Burgundy Cable Knit Scarf.

I went with the navy theme for the whole outfit as I thought the coat matched the wellies really well, but the blue of the jeans breaks it up, and of course, I added some burgundy in there as it’s my favourite. So what do you think of the outfit? Do you like it? I would love to know how you pair your wellies with your outfits!

I really like your rain boots. I’ve never actually owned rain boots. Weird, I know. When I’m in the rain is the only time that I think “oh I really need some rain boots” but then it’s too late. Super cute!

Hey Lorna! Thanks for stopping by my blog the other day- I truly to appreciate it. I follow your blog via bloglovin’ so I get each of your updates =)
Great post here- I really like how you chose to work with navy. It is so easy for us to get caught up in black when we veer towards dark shades so I found this refreshing!
Hope you’re having a wonderful weekend!

Love love love your boots Lorna (I own the same exact pair too as well as black and red.) Hunters are my favorite clothing items to wear especially up here in rainy seattle! Your outfit is 100% perfect with it. I pair mine with my jeans, a white Big Pony Ralph Lauren polo and a navy blue w/ white trim Thom Browne blazer. You make this look way better though, you remind me of taylor swift but prettier. Hope to see more boots outfits!

Thank you very much Eric! I get that a lot about Taylor Swift actually, almost every week, ha ha! It’s a compliment as she’s beautiful!

Hi! I’m glad you like them too! I’ve sort of developed a little community here of Hunter wellies fans! You make the 5th person! I recently wore them again in one of my latest outfit posts if you want to check that out! Other wellies fans commented there too!

I have checked it out. Its mostly women with fetishes for wellies. While i think wellies are an amazing clothing piece im not looking for sexual favors in them. I tried communicating and i got some pretty snappy remarks. At least here its more humble and i can talk about fashion in general!

Yeah, I did notice that’s pretty much what it’s full of over there, it’s not my thing either, but they have some cool photos sometimes of outfits with wellies!

Ill give them that, some great outfits. I think before i make a trip up to the UK i should get me a pair of the british flag wellies. Seen a few celebs in them theyre awesome! I have a british flag big pony polo that would go great with it
